I think too many people are underestimating Osama Obama’s ability to destroy the Dem party on his own, with little help from anyone but Ms O.

At the moment, all that fraudulent crap about “change” plays well with the rubes, but at some point even his worshipers in the MSM are going to want to see some substance. When they do, even the limousine-liberal and NYT gangs will desert him.

BTW, Yahoo News today caught Hillary Clinton stealing a line from the movie “A Few Good Men”. Hillary stated “You stand on the wall and protect this country…”. Yahoo News recalled that this is a line that the Nicholson character said to the Cruise character in the movie. I wonder why Obama doesn’t seize on it. BTW, I caught Hillary telling a big fish tale in Wisconsin a few days ago. Hillary began a speech by telling about seeing a man at her earlier rally wearing a US Marine T-Shirt. Heck, nobody ever wore a US Marine T-Shirt to a Hillary or Bill Clinton rally. Not ever! Second, it is the middle of winter in Wisconsin. Who the heck is wearing a T-Shirt to a rally! Then Hillary said the man said to her (how convenient): I’m back from Iraq but my buddies are still there. Take care of them and then take care of me”. That statement shows Hillary’s view of government and her view of herself as the nation’s mother but it not the thing any US marine would ever say. US marines are taught selfreliance and would never say to Hillary Clinton: “Take care of me”. That led Hillary into a prearranged jangle about the military men and women but she totally made up the crapola about a marine begging Mother Hillary to “take care of me”. Hillary Clinton is followed around 24/7 by news crews. If there were such an incident of motherlove for Hillary from a US marine, why is there no video of it? Why is there no photo? And Hillary was careful not to say exactly where this incident of mother love for Hillary took place.
I just wonder if Hillary is so lost at sea that she truly believes this incident took place.

I agree Mav can beat Obama. Early polling has them tied or Obama up slightly.

In 1980,1988, 1992 and 2000 at this time each of the democratic candidates had a +10 to 15% poll lead only to see it evaporate.

Democrats always outnumber republicans and they unite just in time for their convention. However the race stops being dem vs dem and real differences come out for comparison.

Obama’s hope beats Hillary’s Experience but only amoung glassy eyed democrats. When the youth vote falters and the racial politics of the dems kick in the democratic party unity disintigrates.

I just read that if Douglas Wilder had run in 1992 that Bill Clinton wouldnt have won the nomination. It allowed him to get blacks solidly behind him and he united them and other liberals and then appealed to moderates. And even then took a third party candidate to propell him to the presidency.

And again no democrat has won the presidency without being a southerner since JFK. And even then JFK needed Mayor Daily and a very strong LBJ as VP to do it. IS there a powerful southern democrat in the mold of LBJ to balance Barak’s southern “Problem” ? I dont know of any.
