Obama induces orgasms, McCain tells us what we want to hear and puts us to sleep while doing it. I can’t tell who is more frightening.

I will cast my vote in December for McCain but I want it know that my vote is really for Debbie Lee and her son who deserve a better president that Barak Obama.

I want a president who honors our troops sacrifices not one that exploits them and abuses them for his own ppolitical gain (Cough Obama Cough)

MrSteve on February 19, 2008 at 9:40 PM

Yeah, I think he should avoid using the word “tired” in his speeches.

So, the big question is, will Obama be able to continue effectively disguising his lack of experience and radical-left policies with eloquent speeches, or will McCain be able to cut through the crap and effectively call attention to the fact that Obama hopes to change the USA into The Soviet States of America?

McCain’s delivery will always be wanting. But his content sounds better by the day, especially aginst the current crop of Dems.

Trouble is, when you pit emotion against rationality, emotion wins almost every time.

I am READY for change!

McCain Rips ‘Eloquent But Empty’ Obama

Email

February 19, 2008 9:51 PM

ABC News’ Ron Claiborne and Teddy Davis Report: Arizona Sen. John McCain unveiled a new line of attack against Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., following his Tuesday win in Wisconsin’s Republican primary.

“I will work hard to make sure Americans aren’t deceived by an eloquent but empty call for change,” said McCain.

The presumed Republican nominee also knocked his likely Democratic opponent by taking a shot at the “confused leadership of an inexperienced candidate.”

A week ago, after winning the Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. primaries, McCain suggested without ever using Obama’s name that the Illinois Democrat’s theme of hope was nothing more than “a platitude.”

I’m sitting hear listening to Obama speak in Houston give away money the country doesn’t have, I tried to keep up with all the giveaways. I maybe streaching but it sure sounds like socialism. He even wants to give habeas corpus to the people in gautanamo. Interesting statistic. In Wis where a candidate is supposed to be a lock on the Rep nomination, where voters are given a choice, 45% want to vote for someone else.

Further, with 48% of the vote, 468,000 votes in the dems and 150,000 in the Reps……..and some think the election in November will be close?

I have a full pitcher of John McCain koolaid. MMM it’s good. Drink up.

John McCain has never voted for a tax increase in the history of his career, Obama promises me that he’s going to take my money and give it to lazy, unproductive people.

John McCain has, can and will defend America. Obama is a coward that has never sacraficed anything for his country.

Obama is married to an arrogan, elitist, leftist that wears her hatred of America like a badge that she is proud of. John McCain and his wife have been proud to be American’s every day of their adult lives.

Obama has a vision of change and it is a horrifyingly scary one. Listening to his speech tonight, it is clear that this moron has not even the most basic understanding of he free market system.

Capitalism is the engine of Democracy. Look what socialism did for North Korea, USSR, Cuba, Venezuela, et al, and yet this idiot and the other leftis morons would dismantle this system.

When he made his reference to people being “tricked” by mortgage brokers? Are we not adults? Can we not make our own decisions? Is it the governemtns job to tax other people to pay for my bad decision?

I bought a house in 2004, during the peak of the housing boom. I negotiated and receieved a 5.75% Fixed loan. I could have got a Variable with a starter rate a full point lower.

Why didn’t I?

Because I am not a moron. I made a good decision and will not be foreclosed on. I do not want to ge stuck with the bill for morons that are too stupid to make prper decisins in their life.

We are adults. We are citizens. WE ARE NOT PROPERTY OF THE STATE.

I know that you are enjoying soaking in the bitterness of having McCain as the nominee, but what will comments like this accomplish for you at this point?

Do you actually think that there is any chance, whatsoever, of Mac not getting the nod at this point?

Of course not, he has won it.

You hate Mac cause he voted for Shamnesty and he promised to build your “goddamned” fence.

What policies will Billary or Nobama(c) bring that you like better than John McCain’s policies. Is there any? If not, then what is the point of your MacHatred(c)?

JayHaw Phrenzie on February 19, 2008 at 11:20 PM

Lovely War Hero (cough) we have here:

Upon his return to the United States, McCain was reunited with his wife Carol, who had suffered her own crippling, near-death ordeal during his captivity, due to an automobile accident in December 1969 that left her facing months of operations and physical therapy; by the time he saw her again she was four inches shorter, on crutches, and substantially heavier.

(Loveley Presidential Material here; dedication, commitment, yeah I’m feeling the warmth)

McCain had extramarital affairs,[83] and he would later say, “My marriage’s collapse was attributable to my own selfishness and immaturity more than it was to Vietnam, and I cannot escape blame by pointing a finger at the war. The blame was entirely mine.”

Yup, Johnny boy, we know about your selfishness and immaturity..we saw it during the Shamnesty fiasco.

You are one classy Presidential candidate.

TOPV on February 19, 2008 at 11:25 PM

JayHaw, naw, TOPV lurves Barry O, has for weeks (months?) now.

Kaus doesn’t share the love though.

Is that an S-Chip on Your Shoulder or Are You Just Glad to See Me? John Podhoretz argues that Michelle Obama’s comment–about how “for the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country”–
suggests the Obama campaign really does have its roots in New Class leftism, according to which patriotism is not only the last refuge of a scoundrel, but the first refuge as well — that America is not fundamentally good but flawed, but rather fundamentally flawed and only occasionally good.
He could be right!

Her comment is also of a piece with the cavalier Obamaesque dismissal of the achievements of the Clinton years and her church’s focus on “this racist United States of America.” But is the explanation necessarily political? Even Dennis Kucinich would probably have no problem finding something to be proud of in the past two decades.

If Michelle Obama’s default position is set to “Aggrieved,” it also suggests something personal, no? Maybe, like many strong wives, she wonders why her husband is the one on the top of the family ticket–which might also explain her strange occasional habit of belittling him in public (”snore-y and stinky” ). Beats me. For whatever reason, she sure seems to have a non-trivial chip on her shoulder and it’s not a winning quality.

That is exactly the message I got from her comment. I have heard it a million times from America loathing liberals and it took less than a tenth of a second to figure out what she meant when she said it.

Is America a force for good in the world?

Is America the greatest nation in the world?

Are you proud to be an American citizen?

I answer an enthusiastic yes to each and every one of thse questions.

If you even hesitate before answering yes to any of those questions, clearly there is something wrong with your perceptions or loyalty or both.

If you have to parse those questions, you should not be in the white house, not as first lady, not even as janitor.

Dorvillian on February 19, 2008 at 10:22 PM

I agree with the not staying home part. There are local, state, and Congressional candidates that should be supported.

As to the “sucking it up” and voting for McCain. That’s really up to McCain. He and his cronies have made it clear that they not only want to exclude social conservatives and evangelicals from the GOP- they want to punish this part of the party and don’t really care about the consequences. GHWB’s endorsement the other day was really nothing more than screw you conservatives get in line and vote for John. McCain has performed very badly in traditionally GOP strongholds like the South and he is toast if he continues this “payback” stance vis-a-vis social conservatives. Large black turnout in these same states would all but assure an Obama victory.

So…… Suck it up McCain, stop your vendetta against everybody who didn’t elect you in 2000. Grow up and start acting like an adult you petulant sniviling crybaby.

McCain, please!!!

1. Start speaking with some passion, and get some sleep!

2. Sorry, but get rid of most of the “Old white Republicans” standing behind you on the podium.

3. Get some young people and any minority supporter’s behind you up on that podium.

4. This is because every time McCain makes a speech, it looks like an AARP convention.

Hope this helps!

Compare the size and the energy of McCain’s crowd to that of Obama or even Hillary.

We’re in big trouble, MY FRIEND.

Democrats always have bigger crowds because many of their supporters don’t have full time jobs. Those that don’t, the rich and powerful NOW/NAACP types know that their agenda will be passed, and are simply glad that college kids and drunken hippies, while unreliable voters, do pump up crowd numbers.

John McCain and his wife have been proud to be American’s every day of their adult lives.

Even when McCain dumped his first wife for his new trophy wife? You know, the one that stuck with him while he was a POW, but then got into a car accident and he left for a young heiress hottie.

So, did you mean the first wife, who stuck with him through thick and thin (even while he was self-admittedly cheating on her); or the new model he traded in for during his “mid-life crisis”?

Really dude, take this as a lesson. Don’t mention McCain’s marriage, his wife, or anything related to that. And if Hillary wins, do NOT bring up Bill’s philandering. McCain doesn’t size up well in the “couple/married/fidelity/morality” area here; and Bill’s problems are well known. McCain’s haven’t really been in that spotlight yet.

Because, in “middle America” they disapprove of cheating on a wife who stuck with you through your hardships, and then leaving her after she gets injured, trading in your 40 year-old wife for a 25 year-old party-girl heiress.

That just doesn’t show him in a good light; which I think was your goal.

And guys, yes; his wife is “hot”. She’s also over a decade younger than his first wife. “Trading in for a newer model” often results in an attractive wife. Which doesn’t mean it’ll play well in the election…
