Hey Michelle Obama,

Welcome to the jungle
We got fun ‘n’ games
We got everything you want
Honey we know the names
We are the people that can find
Whatever you may need
If you got the money honey
We got your disease

Chorus:

In the jungle
Welcome to the jungle
Watch it bring you to your shun n,n,n,n,,n,n,,n,n,n,,n,n,,n knees, knees
I wanna watch you bleed

Welcome to the jungle
We take it day by day
If you want it you’re gonna bleed
But it’s the price you pay
And you’re a very sexy girl
That’s very hard to please
You can taste the bright lights
But you won’t get them for free
In the jungle
Welcome to the jungle
Feel my, my, my serpentine
I, I wanna hear you scream

Welcome to the jungle
It gets worse here everyday
Ya learn ta live like an animal
In the jungle where we play
If you got a hunger for what you see
You’ll take it eventually
You can have anything you want
But you better not take it from me

Chorus

And when you’re high you never
Ever want to come down, so down, so down, so down YEAH!

You know where you are
You’re in the jungle baby
You’re gonna die
In the jungle
Welcome to the jungle
Watch it bring you to your shu n,n,n,,n,n,,n,n,n,,n,n,,n,n,,n knees, knees

fourstringfuror on February 19, 2008 at 2:24 PM

Let me preface my statement by saying that I am a blond, and when I was a child blond jokes used to make me very angry since I knew I wasn’t stupid.

However, blond jokes are more acceptable than “nappy” jokes.

1. Anyone of any race can dye their hair blond, and the jokes do tend to refer to bleached bimbos rather than any ethnicity.
2. “Nappy” hair is not a hairstyle choice, and only black people have that type of hair.

Hating stupid senators and congressmen and not being proud of your country are two different things.

And, by the way, we were winning a war at the time - and I was (and am) proud of that.

Michelle Obama is crazy enough to have married Obama, the most liberal senator we’ve got, and people are expecting her to be proud of our country? Now can we officially define “liberalism” as “traitorous behavior”? If liberals actually believed in their country (that is, not racked by liberal-cancer), Obama would be dropping out and skipping the country as fast as he could; unfortunately, that’s not the case.

P.S. I loathe McCain more than any other Republican, probably, but he and his wife are completely in the green on this one. Still working against him, and refuse to agree with voting for him (Alan Keyes instead!) - but he’s right to condemn Obama’s wife.

emailnuevo on February 19, 2008 at 2:36 PM

For big yuks, check out the Politico thread on this story - lots of Obamatons showing up going crazy on Cindy McCain, with typically foul and ignorant posts, many expressing deep upset that a presidential candidate’s “trophy wife” would declare her patriotism (think of it!), but the best part is when they start going crazy about her past drug problems. Is the blind, self-destructive hypocrisy innate or acquired?

CK MacLeod on February 19, 2008 at 2:36 PM

I add to my previous that we are still winning the war, and I didn’t mean to imply that we weren’t.

emailnuevo on February 19, 2008 at 2:36 PM

Good for the McCain campaign. Hit Obama early and often. Indirection is their best weapon at this point. Let the reporters fill in the implications and thus keep Michelle the Mouth in the news another day.

Michelle is the weak link in the Obama chain. We need to find ways to push her buttons. Underneath her composed exterior lurks a narcissistic, mean-spirited and arrogant little girl who swears she’s “the smartest, prettiest and most talented person in the room and why can’t anyone see that!“. Once we crack the facade, all her indignation and self-righteous anger will come pouring out. Even the most fanatical Obama cultists will turn away in digust.

I’ll never understand people who’s patriotism varies depending on who is in office or what some President or congressman may have done or not done recently.

It reminds me of liberals who proudly screeched about not flying the flag after Bush’s reelection. The flag isn’t about Bush, or the government, or any particular policy.

It’s about an ideal. It’s about the founder’s vision. It’s about the America that could be and sometimes is. It’s about the people and the history and revolutionary ideas of freedom and liberty and equality.

Patriotism has nothing to do with the government currently in power.

My patriotism never wavers or changes or fades. If yours does, you aren’t anyone I want on my side.

Michelle Obama should be ashamed. Her husband should be apologizing. Neither should be anywhere near the White House.

And I don’t care what you think about John McCain … his wife would make a fine First Lady. If you’re having trouble dragging your ass to the polls in November, think of Michelle Obama as First Lady.

TroubledMonkey on February 19, 2008 at 2:47 PM

The Mouth is much better than THK. Heinz-Kerry was just a rich, elitist snob, with a European-style disdain for the unwashed plebs (who, after all, should respect and defer to their social betters). Michelle is much better, much more interesting and will give us plenty of material to work with over the next 9 months. The Mouth is angry in a way THK can’t even imagine.

Ironically, Mrs. Obama looks a lot like Mrs. Clinton. Michelle’s an an academically accomplished woman married to ‘charismatic’ man who overshadows her. Until recently, Michelle (like HRC) made the money. She’s been supporting their lifestyle at a real job for years and years while BHO has played community organizer and Illinois State Senator. She was going to work while he wrotes his book about his precious identity. In her mind she’s the smart, hard-working, tough one. She grew up a black girl in Chicago while Barry was surfing at his private school in Hawaii. Michelle, like HRC, is the hard-working grind. She had to overcome her poor standardized test scores. Whereas BHO waltzes through his editorship at Harvard Law Review without leaving any paper trail. Can’t you feel her frustration?

Like HRC, her resentment is quivering just below the surface. Michelle both loves and hates the man she is bound to. But HRC is a generation older, from a more restrained, stiff-upper-lip, Methodist background. Michelle, by background and constitution, lacks Hillary’s self-control. To her followers this is ‘passion’ and is part of her charm. But it could easily be her undoing.

I’m ashamed of what has happened to the senate. But are you aware of what people’s lives are like in the rest of the world? They live in poverty most places. But the greatest things about America are the the freedoms built into our system, our respect for the rights of minorities and our willingness to share our wealth with others in need. Our system respects the individual to a degree never seen in any other place or at any other time. Find out about the world. Read some history. If you read and look widely enough America only looks better and better.

I clearly respect Michelle Obama far more than the left wing media, because I believe that a Harvard educated lawyer has no problem saying exactly what she means.

So, I take her at her word, she has no pride in America unless we elect her unaccomplished, empty-suit of a plagiarizing husband to the White House.

I belive she means what she said and therefore her husband will never get my vote.

She’s gonna make a terrific first lady. She’ll definately be the best looking first lady as well. Way to go Mav, knock the bottom out of it.

Whoops, I meant Axel Rose…

McCain knows how to play the game. Spouse comments on spouse and he doesn’t dirty his hands with it.

But wou;dn’t it be so much better if there weren’t any games? Especially on the Republican side?

1) Why, after the initial outburst, did they start to mumble about the ‘proud of my country’ line when they were questioned about it?

2) If any polly, or wife of one, tried this (either one of them) in Oz there’d be no end to their ridicule, I suspect

O’Reilly just did a piece on Michelle Obama and claimed to have researched her background for other questionable statements claims he came up with nothing other than her snide comment about Hillary Clinton’s inability to run her own house. That’s quite a cracker-jack staff Bill’s got over there at “The Factor.” There’s plenty more, and plenty more that gives context to her comment about not being proud of her country. She’s an angry America-is-a-racist-country black woman. If Fox News won’t expose this fact, then what hope is there that any other of the broadcast networks will?

Michelle Obama is crazy enough to have married Obama, the most liberal senator we’ve got, and people are expecting her to be proud of our country?

Good, go after Obama’s marriage, because McCain is golden in this area. He and Cindy were High School sweethearts, who stuck together even when he was a POW.

Oh, no. that was his first wife, who stuck with him while he was a POW, and who he (self-admittedly) cheated on and dumped in his 40’s after she got in a car wreck. So he “traded in for a newer model” and married a younger, more attractive heiress (whose daddy had money to fund his political ambitions) while dumping his wife who had stuck with him through thick and thin.

Yep, he’s golden on this area… I’d choose this as a plan of attack in the general election against Obama. I’m sure the Conservatives in “flyover states” are really cool with ditching your wife and infidelity, which is why they loved Bill Clinton so much.
