Clinton’s assertions are specious.

She is, of course, guilty of things that she accuses others of being guilty of…what else would one expect?

When in doubt about matters of the other side, I read the “news of the left”.

Time headline – Barrack Plagiarism: “No One’s Buying It.”

That sentiment is all over, the entire attack is simply more desperation from Hillaryland.

Also the story about the Wisconsin poll, you know the one where Hillary is within striking distance? It looks like a non-starter as well.

The polls have consistently shown Barry over Hillary – and nothing has changed.

I know lots of people want Hillary to do well, it’s some kind of strategy…but I’m too chicken to jump on board, so for now, I’m still rooting for Obama.

The latest line of attack on Sen. Barack Obama from Sen. Hillary Clinton is the accusation that Obama plagiarized Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick. Someone put a visual aid up on YouTube:

AP’s being way too above-the-fray here. That “sexist code words” imbroglio was not a ginned-up phony controversy: Obama really does have an old school leftist machismo problem, and he’s shown it in his condescending cuts at Hillary and others repeatedly. He’s far too controlled to say something obviously stupid and foul, but the “periodically” statement was not taken as subtle by feminists who deal with this kind of thing all of the time. Again, the point isn’t that, taken in isolation, the comments are so beyond the pale (though women who’ve been shown them do tend to take them badly) – the point is that they help confirm a pattern.

The same is true of the stolen words: Calling them plagiarism is clearly overbidding by the Clintonistas and and others, but it serves the purpose of attracting attention and forcing BO onto the defensive. The real problem, as discussed on the “audacity of derivativeness” thread, is that, once you strip away empty, phony, and canned rhetoric, Obama’s just a junior senator from Illinois desperately under-qualified for the presidency, afflicted with a bad case of pretentious arrogance and a willingness to manipulate the naive.

If the great orator is stealing other people's speeches, does he still get to be the great orator? And for that matter, if he has to steal a speech quoting from the most quoted speeches of all time, does he still get to be super intelligent guy? And while I'm at it, if his response to getting caught is "Well, she did it, too" do we still have to hear about how he's Mr. honest politician? I don't know, Senator Obama, I think my soul is hurting from all of this. I'm going to have to reclaim my soul from you until you can get this all straightened out.
