The Obama campaign came right out with an ad to counter the Clinton BS ad you have shown. The Clintons tried to creat a debate controversy in Wisconsin and it didn’t work.

Bubba Billy Clinton has been spending since the end of his time of stinking up the White House (I cannot even bring myself to call it his “Presidency”) trying to build up whatever legacy he can get for himself. Problem is that the type of legacy he now has is the type that can only be approached while wearing latex gloves and arming oneself with a case of Lysol spray.

First the obvious:

Clinton would not be begging for debates if she were ahead in the internal polling. This is a tactic of the weaker campaign. I don’t know if Clinton is legitimately the underdog or if this is merely part of a strategy to show her as the come-from-behind challenger (frankly I don’t think Clinton’s people are that clever). Nevertheless begging for debates, bribing superdelegates and attempting to get Michigan and Florida delegates seated are all marks of desperation. It may well be John McCain gets the edge because he has more time to soothe the p*ssed off part of his party than Obama or Clinton will have to soothe the p*ssed off part of their party.

Lordy! How I mourn for the Republic that it has come down to this. Three far-left-of-center candidates running on a platform of being less objectionable than the others. We need to find a way to harness the RPMs from all the Founding Fathers that are spinning in their graves over this pathetic state of affairs.

Secondly, and less obvious:

It seems like Bill Clinton is once again being passive agressive in the way his comments undermine his “spouse’s” campaign. Once again it becomes what a damned good job he did in the 1990s than actually campaigning for his wife by telling audience what a wonderful person she is and how she has the vision that is right for the future.

The closest he gets is to mention that Clinton is the only one out there fighting for universal healthcare. That, of course, brings up all the illegal meetings, over-the-top socialism, and bad press that came out of Clinton’s 1990s attempt to throw out all that makes American healthcare the best in the world. Instead of tinkering with insurance reform Hillarycare sought nothing less than nationalized medicine that was soundly rejected. Thanks for reminding us of Hillary’s role in that one Bill!

With the Clintons, it is always about reliving their glory days. Bill Clinton reminds me of Al Bundy endlessly talking about his high school football days. During Clinton’s watch, Al Queda bombed the WTC and the Clintons and Janet Reno immediately announced it was only a “law enforcement matter”. They rounded up a few losers and left Ben Laden free as a bird. Under the Clinton watch, the US allowed Al Queda to murder scores of US servicemen because Clinton would not allow the Khobar Towers to be defended properly. The Saudis said that a US perimeter would be “upsetting to Saudi dignity” and Clinton backed down. That was more important to Clinton than the lives of US soldiers. Then there was the embassy bombing in Tanzania and I believe Kenya. Clinton’s response was a one day cruise missile strike which was ineffective. After that one salvo, Clinton surrendered meekly and promised the left wing of his party “Never Again”. Then there was the matter of Clinton having Yasser Arafat at the White House more than any other “head of state”. And there was the matter of Hillary giving Suha Arafat a kiss worthy of Madonna and Britney after Suha said Israel was poisoning Arab children with secret toxins. Hillary said it would have been inappropriate to publicly disagree with Suha.

I really love Hillary’s new “hope vs. solutions” argument. If I recall correctly her only two solutions have been her failed “health care proposal,” which initially crippled Bill’s presidency, and her choice of a campaign manager, who’s been fired for turning “inevitable” presidential aspirations into ashes.

We’ve got to hope Hillary pulls it out in Texas; indeed, I’ll probably be voting for her in the primary. We need to let her use all of her nastiness on Obama right up to the end; if she does, the Dem nominee- whoever it is- will be the most damaged prior to the Convention.

They are getting desperate. It seems like no matter what they do it doesn’t work. One problem of course is that she constantly tries to say she has more experience than Obama yet she really has none, and what little she does have is crap. Bottom line, the myth that all libs love the Clinton’s is totally false. I could see this years ago when debating with libs, there is actually quite a bit of underlying resentment.

I agree with Sugar Land. I can't stand the Clinton's, but have found myself defending them as of late. Where is the negative portion of this? The Dallas Morning News seemed to see things very differently
