1) Every once in a while an Obama cultie has a “moment of clarity” and sees the void beyong the endless platitudes of “hope” and “change”.

Unable to cope with the infinite nothingness of Obama’s core policy, they faint only to wake up and remember nothing.

2) These faintings are staged, Remember – unlike Hillary, Obama can’t cry tears to show how much he “cares”. That would be unmanly. Instead he shows he cares by endlessly calling for paramedics.

It’s been said by many before but while here on the right we’ve got our problems, at least our differences are about issues.

There’s absolutely nothing there on the left but identity.

Not. One. Damn. Thing.

These things have a way of gaining a critical mass and spinning way out of control.

Go ahead and call me a hope-monger, but maybe, just maybe, they’ll rip each other into tiny little pieces, and a crowd will finally gather and look and see that there’s no substance to the pieces at all.

Now the skinny young black junior Senator from Illinois is leaving the Clintons coughing in his dust and they are now rapidly seeing their “triumphant campaign to return to the White House” turn into a question in a future political edition of Trivial Pursuit!

Pro-Clinton blogger Taylor Marsh writes that words like this, in her view, indicate “a way of thinking about women. A way of demeaning women in power; even saying we’re not up to the job. Seriously, Senator Hillary Clinton is a woman running for president. Not some emotional menopausal diva popping pills because she’s depressed she broke a nail.”

Heh, wow…just wow.

DEE-LUUSH-SHUN-ALL

Remember his “you’re likeable enough” cut at Hillary during Democratic Debate #142? Often it’s the tone of voice or his body language. He literally tends to look down when making remarks of that type – also when he made the “periodically” response that ignited this little imbroglio. If you caught him addressing skepticism aimed at Obamamania, it was the same thing: “I can’t help it if I give a good speech.” His team’s response to Hillary’s familiarly framed debate-ducking Wisconsin ads was also condescending, as though he was too good to waste his time with another debate just for Wisconsinites, when everyone knows the truth: He’s got more money and more momentum and doesn’t want to help her out.

He also has a routine he does about Republicans supporting him – whom he calls “Obamacans.” He describes them furtively revealing their partisan affiliations to him, whispering as though afraid of being recognized. He doesn’t seem to realize how demeaning the shtick is to all concerned. What are they supposed to be afraid of? Of his supporters? As the campaign wears on, his personality and his speechifying wear thin, and, most of all, as his views and his history on a range of issues become better known, he might have more not less difficulty finding any Obamacans.

He knows how to make the noises of respect for his opponents, and his speeches have been full of claims about his willingness to listen to competing points of view, but he’s not very convincing when it comes to acknowledging that there might be anything to their perspectives.

Once the air starts coming out of his balloon – and there certainly have been a lot of pin-pricks aimed at it of late – he may have a lot of difficulty blowing it back up again.

I don’t think the rightwing conventional wisdom that Hillary is a weaker general election candidate is inarguable – especially a Hillary who’s fought her way back from near-death. Of course we’ll never know which one would really have done better. I’d still much rather take the risk on Hillary than Obama.

This reminds me a little of how, during HRC’s last campaign for public office, male candidates were not allowed to approach her during debates.

And the cause of female equality marches on….

Let me guess: Are Obama’s code words “Juanita,” “Jennifer,” “Monica,” and “enabler”?

Too bad Hillary isn’t running against Biden, then we could have “sex scandals” vs. “text scandals.”
