Shouldn’t cooperation between Hamas/Syria and Hezbollah/Iran be enough to put to bed the myth that Sunnis and Shiites never cooperate? Or are our foreign policy elites so nuanced that the claim has now been revamped as “non-state Sunni and Shiite terrorist organizations never cooperate”? And event hen, wouldn’t Hamas-Hezbollah ties still make that claim a touch untenable?
