I’ve NEVER seen PBS be fair or objective. I think they know the lefties will just watch an attack on our troops and say, “Everybody knows they’re rapists and murders, ho hum.” But if they get a gigantic out cry from conservative bloggers they’ll get much more MSM ink and air time. And Pelosi and Reid will give them more money.

I can’t imagine that PBS could present any story in an unbiased way, heavily weighted to the left. Anymore than NPR can. But I, too, will watch and see. One never knows, they could just surprise the hell out of me. I doubt it seriously, but it could happen.

Savage and his listeners have raised over $200,000 toward the defense fund of Colonel Chessani. Let's get these heroes free. It's absurd to ask them to work as police officers in hostile territory and then to take the enemy's version of events as official record. It's a damn disgrace. They deserve far better. I'm skeptical, to say the least, that this will be an unbiased show.

Hesitation is not a bad thing? I understand why a 1st LT. would say that on camera, but in my mind, as a trained soldier and serving in a warzone, hesitation could be my downfall. I think using restraint would be a better description. I may be overly semantic.

The ROE issue is a knotty one, however it ultimately comes down to our CiC. He has consistently delivered inconsistency with his rhetoric. Are we in a war or not? And, how many of guys’ lives is compassionate PC worth? That is weighed against the efficiency of reaching our goal which is more easily attained if the Iraqis don’t hate us and help with identifying bad guys. I’m afraid we’ve lost many lives in the process of trying to make them like us.

Doubtful. That PBS could be anything other than a hyper-partisan mouthpiece for leftist shibboleths is pretty much an absurd thought. When journalists get out of j-school ready to “change the world,” the thoroughgoing socialists go to PBS.

Hesitation is a killer and they all know that. But the fact that they are willing to take a sencond thought and think it’s worth it only should wake people up that they are not mindless killers.

But of course Code Pink and the like only care about their own prejudiced views. It’s like they didn’t get to joint in the fun during the 60′s or they miss it, so they are wanting the military to be evil so they can feel good about themselves. Why not act againts CAIR and the jihadis? The jihadis will fire back.
