He had stats, I commend his hard work on the inside (where players don’t like to play because it is rough). I personally was never impressed. And seeing as how he only made ONE Finals appearance after all those years chasing the ring speaks volumes about his ability to win championships.
He was on good teams. The 76ers were good, Phoenix was good (that’s who he made the finals with), and he went to Houston the year after they won 2 Championships. It’s not like he was on bad teams and he didn’t win. He just didn’t win, and I never understood his hype.
It don’t really matter though, for the next 10 years the only name you’ll hear is Chris Paul. He’s the best I’ve EVER seen PERIOD. Even better than Jordan with his understanding of the game and what he can do with the ball. Chris Paul is amazing (and 22).
Charles Barkley was the best 6-4 & 3/4-inches PF to ever play in the NBA. He possessed bulk, athleticism, strength, and phenomenal jumping ability. I remember an Auburn-Kentucky game during Barkley’s college career, where he absolutely dominated the Kentucky frontline of Sam Bowie (who was healthy at the time) and Mel Turpin, who was known as “Dinner Bell.” Barkley never won a Championship in the NBA because the Celtics had the Number One Barkley stopper in Kevin McHale, the Lakers had Magic, Houston had Olajuwon, and the Bulls had Jordan.
Having said all that, it doesn’t qualify as a great exhibition of courage to criticize Christians in the U.S.
Christians are easy targets. No one screams about Christianophobia, when you criticize Christians.
Let’s see Barkley say the same things about Muslims, when he’s off visiting the Middle East as an example. Being a dissenter in the US doesn’t have the same impact as those whom risk their lives criticizing oppressive regimes.
The funny part is, McCain is probably the least conservative Christian/Mormon/Baptist/Protestant/whatever-Jesus candidate out of the entire republican field and yet even he is too much for Charles to figure out.
Man, Republicans are not going to win this election.
A lot of folks laughed at Fred! for not being what they wanted him to be, but he would be making dinner reservations with Barkley right now at some steak house in Alabama.
Instead we get to watch the Maverick get humiliated by the cult of Obama.
Haven’t the people of Alabama suffered enough? They’re still recovering from Hurricane Katrina, and now they have to look forward to Hurricane Chuckie causing even more destruction in their state in the future? Sad.
Then again, anything that gets this guy out of Arizona is okay by me.
I’ll judge you, Charles. I’ll judge you because I’m smart. You’re an idiot who cannot wrap your head around the truth of the issue. You prefer to oversimplify everything.
But, what about the part in the bible that says you men shouldn’t lay with men?
But, what about the part in the bible that says “thou shalt not kill?”
With all the money this guy has been losing in the casinos the last few years, he’ll be lucky if he has enough cash left to file the nominating petitions.
I remember this guy, we were in a bar in San Antonio and I couldn’t get this guy off of my ass. I’m sure I’m one of a thousand. Sir Charles, you’re a whore.
I love how he says he’s not afraid of fake Christians cause he “don’t work for them” while at the same time planning to ask Alabama’s large fake Christian population to give him a job as governor.
That being said, I’m all conflicted now. I’m definitely a conservative, AND a Christian, AND I forgive people AND my views on homosexuality and abortion have nothing to do with judging/looking down on the people who do them. So please, Mr Barkley, according to your standard, am I fake or the real deal? I wait with bated breath for your judgment in my case. Please don’t send me to hell.
For homosexual marriage translates into “I support abnormal sexual behavior being placed on the level of equivalency with normal sexual behavior coupled with child rearing-family raising, as in the institution of marriage.
“I’m Pro-choice” does not mean “I am for everyone having their own choice” nor does it mean “am for choice of which flavor ice cream to eat,” or “I’m for which choice of vacation spot to choose,” or “I am for choice in which school you can send your children to (Public school districts often do not allow such a choice).
“I’m Pro-choice” translates into “I am an abortion choicer,” or “I am for the choice to kill a living human being via various methods of barbaric, cruel, inhumane methods, including chemical, pharmacological, cutting, tearing, crushing, pulling, slicing, and suctioning” an innocent, defenseless new human being, taking away HER or HIS “freedom of choice” and ensuring that he or she never has such a luxury as “choice.”
Choice for some, but not for all.
I am also pro-choice, “Life of baby” choice.
Regarding this comment about fake Christians and “Judge not lest ye be judged,” that is ridiculous! Everyone must judge frequently throughout the day, throughout their lives. If you did not use judgment you would associate with thugs, or thieves, or murderers, you would not discern good milk from bad milk, and you would not choose a school, a spouse, or a career which you find suitable to your interests, skills, and enthusiasm.
Errrrr…..Charles, the Bible DOES say christians should judge others…..
But use RIGHTEOUS judgement..
“Judge not lest ye be judged. For with whatever measure you use to judge others, you will be judged with”…
In other words, if you criticize someone for promoting abortions…make sure your not performing them yourself…
Decipher it for yourself……..it is the SECOND sentence that the Heathen NEVER quote that qualifies the first.
PS: why didn’t he buy a house in Maine and try to run there instead of thinking he has a “slam dunk” with the Alabama black vote…..
If Obama can do it, so can I. I hate the republics. And I am such a nice guy on the court.
RobCon on February 16, 2008 at 7:48 AM
He’s only doing what Bush did in 04′ (at the time I think Barkley was a “Re-pube-ican”), when he roused up the “religious vote” with the pervert marriage opposition promises (we won’t even go there on how a country that blesses perversion can fight off Islam or any other enemy but history has shown it has not been done to date). Sorta hard to blame that one on Obama. He learned from the “master” of fooling people and that “master” is still going strong.
Thank god he was a great basketball player because rocket scientist was not in his future. These professional athletes make millions a year with a sixth grade education level, sad. I would love to see him on “Are You Smarter then a Fifth Grader”.
Oh please . . . who gives a rat’s back side what this bum thinks or says?

I do….
Because the MSM has him on saying his piece in order to do everything they can to decrease GOP votes and increase DNC votes come the general election…..
Barkley is a fake Hall of Famer. You should NOT be allowed in the Hall of Fame without a championship ring.
ThackerAgency on February 15, 2008 at 11:44 PM
What a load, Mr.I can break down a basketball player point by point. Ever hear of Karl Malone (2nd leading scorer in NBA history) or John Stockton (career assist leader)? No, I am not a Jazz fan or even from Utah, so don’t go there.
Re: Barkley…looks like Sir Chuck let his mouth overload his ass…and that’s a lot of ass to overload.
I do….Because the MSM has him on saying his piece in order to do everything they can to decrease GOP votes and increase DNC votes come the general election…..
Precisely my point . . . ignore him and he’ll go away.
Watching Mr. Barclay express his politics and ambitions bring to mind two quotes that hold true today, and are worth repeating in the hope of bringing rational thought to free thinking people.
“To err is human — but it feels divine”
Mae West
“The people I distrust most are those who want to improve our lives but have only one course of action.” Frank Herbert
G-d loves the sinner but with one stern admonition – don’t sin again. He loves everyone but for crying out loud – stop sinning! That crap about judging others is lazy thinking. If you keep sinning, you ain’t making past the pearly gates. That’s the ultimate judgment.
People judge others everyday from what neighborhood in which to live – with whom should my kids associate and to what party I ‘ll vote for. Each of those judgements are based on what one thinks about someone else. I’m sure that Barkley didn’t buy a house in undesirable neighborhood. G-d forbid he make a judgment about people who live in homes valued under $100,000.
Remember, those who were casting stones were about to murder someone – not prevent her from marrying another woman.
If Christians can’t make judgments, we should release every creep in prison – lest we be judged.
Berkely is a moron! Always has been and always will be…but I liked his style of basketball. But who am I to judge?
He needs to stick with Basketball…it’s a perfect example of stepping OUT of your expertise. “I’m going to vote democratic no matter what!!!” Duh…..OK, is anyone surprised about that? ‘Stupid is as stupid does!’
Talk about fake Christian–Don’t care if gay’s get married and don’t care if babies are killed in the uterus. Who’s the fake christian? Oh wait, he didn’t say he was a christian did he???
Barkley better think about his delivery, before he relies on punditry or politics for gravy. He upsets too many people and sponsors and he’ll have to dilute himself to infomercials (see Chuck Norris).
Hey Charley, which one of your children would you like to have seen aborted if they got in your wife’s way? Today’s law says you couldn’t stop her if that was her choice. 40 million + abortions since 1973, I bet that makes you so proud.
If you don’t believe gay couples behavior isn’t offensive, you haven’t been to San Francisco. Or maybe you have and that is why you don’t live there.
Do you understand that when Islam is law, and with your continued help that day is coming, it’s people like you and your entire family that will be killed first?
That’s right, your entire family. Because to them, your blood must be tainted to believe such things, so all who share your blood must be eliminated. No sh!t, that’s the way they think. My nephew was there for two years and seen it happen with his own eyes.
Bottom line Charley, you are even worse than they are. They make no bones how they think or what their intentions are.
But your type is like an insidious cancer that eats away at the moral fiber of this country from the inside. And everything you say and do is for the benefit of your political aspirations. Kind of makes you a whore, doesn’t it? And your use of self-righteous indignation towards Christians also is pathetically transparent and self-serving.
Ya, your a real piece of work Charley. By 2014 there will probably be 45 million murdered babies and SF gay behavior will become even more vile and disgusting, if that could be possible.
Well, at least you won’t have St. Peter to deal with, IMHO,you will never get that far.
I see your point. Chaz’s problem comes with defining God’s will. Man can try and re-define anything, that is theirs through their own agency. One problem, however, is that there are consequences with every choice. God’s will/laws are unchanging. Regardless of whether or not one believes, or believes in error, God is constant: He is the same today, yesterday, forever. IMAO he interprets scripture and the will of God about as effectively as he speaks. Chaz, just like us all, will have to submit to God’s will in its entirety if he expects to be in His presence. Man cannot define God’s will/grace/salvation on man’s terms. Chaz will find that out in due time. The only thing that saddens me is using Christ’s name in an attempt to influence an argument. I feel it shows poor judgement and is an affront to Him.
I sat next to Chuck on a flight last year from Phoenix to ATL. While he was very polite to our “waitress”, we did have an interesting exchange re: politics. He was reading the NYT and out of the blue he said “look at that idiot” when referring to a picture of Bush on the front page. I looked at him and said “you and I are not going to agree on politics so let’s keep our opinions to ourselves”. He looked at me for a few seconds, nodded his head, gave me thin smile and went back to his paper. I don’t think he is used to people telling him “I really don’t give a flying F what you think”. He’s a basketball player ….. why should I care what he believes?
I believe that Islam will be God’s tool to bring justice to the non believers. It’s a little scary to see how close we are to the beginning of the end.
People like Barkley have decisions to make. Sadly, they are too busy burning bridges to Christ to worry about their souls.
I don’t think he is used to people telling him “I really don’t give a flying F what you think”.
David in ATL on February 16, 2008 at 10:42 AM
I bet he’s not used to it. Celebrities and professional athletes think their opinion is worth more than the average person because their bank account is worth more than the average person.
Does Charles want me to quote the Bible at him? Does he REALLY want that? As he is judging Christians while lambasting them for being judgmental? Think about that, round mound.
Just another faded ‘celebrity’ missing his time in the spotlight. Running for Governor? Why? Because he can’t clean the glass anymore?
Charles, I’m a Christian, and I’m judging you…to be a jerk.
I’m glad Charles doesn’t “judge” people like he says conservatives do or I would get the feeling he spent that whole segment “judging” all conservatives as bad people, but people like Charles don’t “judge” others, do they?
I do know one thing, all Charles has to do is replay his interview on CNN to find what a “hypocrite” is.
I got just far enough to hear him take it upon himself to speak ill of Christians, and belly-ache about how they make him sick to his stomach, and I couldn’t get any further. As a Christian, black, Conservative, Republican, StraightEdger and Army veteran, I say Barkley is just as big a nobody to me, now, as he ever was. I just couldn’t be motivated to care any less about that classless, tastless, brainless cretin.
[Captain Scarlet on February 16, 2008 at 12:06 PM]
Now that you mention that, did anyone else get the impression that Blitzer was not happy that his backroom clowns forced him to interview Barkley and was probably focused on mindbending the clock to tick faster?
Does Charles want me to quote the Bible at him? Does he REALLY want that? As he is judging Christians while lambasting them for being judgmental? Think about that, round mound.

Charles, I’m a Christian, and I’m judging you…to be a jerk.
He’s not saying Christians shouldn’t be allowed to marry. He’s criticizing their efforts to legislate their religious beliefs in a way that affects gay people.
The guy did clean glass during a Hall of Fame career and he’s managed to become the most successful on-air personality for the NBA and TNT. He’s not a geat political thinker but it was All Star weekend and CNN producers needed something to keep Wolf’s audience from falling asleep.
The more the GOP focuses on the gay marriage issue, the more their divisiveness plays into Obama’s script of hope and inclusiveness. The GOP should drop the issue and figure out how they are going to make middle income families better off before they lose those families to the Dems.
Karl Malone in his prime was superior to Charles Barkley in his prime. Barkley was flamboyant while all Karl did was grab rebounds, shoot brilliantly for a big man and run the pick and roll with Stockton to perfection.
I recall what Scottie Pippin had to say about Charles. When Pippin went to Houston to play one season with Charles, Scottie was sickened by Charles’ lack of discipline, his refusal to practice properly and Charles’ inattention to detail.
Yeah, Karl Malone and John Stockton don’t deserve to be in the Hall either because they didn’t get a ring. Karl Malone was a better player than Barkley. Malone and Stockton stayed at the same team their whole career and almost won a ring there. Barkley went to teams because he thought they’d win.
Charles Barkley was the best 6-4 & 3/4-inches PF to ever play in the NBA.
And this is the point. It’s great that he had success, but the only reason it’s ‘amazing’ is because he was too short for the position. I commend him for getting the rebounds as he was willing to work inside on the low block where lots of people don’t want to go.
It’s the same argument that Mugsey Bogues was a ‘great’ NBA player. He wasn’t (and he went to WFU like me). The only reason he was considered ‘great’ is because he was 5’3. Bogues had no place in the NBA other than entertainment purposes.
Barkley never won a Championship in the NBA because the Celtics had the Number One Barkley stopper in Kevin McHale, the Lakers had Magic, Houston had Olajuwon, and the Bulls had Jordan.
The only thing you got accurate there was Jordan. This is why Chuck always wanted to be seen and thought of as ‘like Mike’. McHale was old and retired before Chuck’s prime. Magic never matched up with Chuck. Chuck was ON OLAJUWON’s TEAM after Houston won the two championships. Why didn’t he win ON ‘The Dream’s’ team?
The other argument would be for Patrick Ewing who was another great player who didn’t win a championship. Here again though, he stayed with the same team to try to win without being traded to teams because he thought they had a better chance of winning a championship.
It’s OK, I’m used to people not understanding what I’m saying. I’m sure that in 10 years everyone will be saying that they ALL thought Chris Paul was the ‘greatest player in the history of the league’ 20 years ago. When I say ‘I told you so’, they’ll deny that I said anything different from them. Let me ask straight up right now. . . have you ever even HEARD OF Chris Paul? Probably not. You will when he wins MVP this year, but you’ll wonder why he did.
I said about 6 months ago that Musharraf was not going to be in charge of Pakistan in a year. Everybody was saying how much effort we should put in to help him stay in power. He’ll likely get impeached and removed from office in the next couple of months. But everyone said I was wrong then too.
It is why I don’t care to interact with people. I don’t like to have to defend my accurate positions to people who only want to tell me I’m wrong. It’s been going on all my life. I don’t even know why I bother anymore. I can break down players because I love the game, it is the most beautiful thing on the planet to me. I have no loyalty to team or person or hype, only loyalty to the game.
Scottie was sickened by Charles’ lack of discipline, his refusal to practice properly and Charles’ inattention to detail.
Did Scottie’s discipline include sitting on the bench when he didn’t like Phil Jackson’s play call in a playoff game against the Knicks?
I agree with you on Malone. He and Stockton were the best tandem in NBA history. Malone was the quintessential power forward and the best in history when he played. Though there are a bunch of 6-9 to 6-11 guys playing now that can score and rebound who are pretty good too–Garnett, Duncan and now that he’s moved back to PF from C, Amare Stoudemire.
Chris Paul is the best young point guard in the NBA. His matchup with Nash and the 132-130 2OT win last week was probably the best game of the year.
If Paul never wins a championship, he’ll still belong in the HOF. Big Shot Bob Horry with all his rings shouldn’t get into the HOF unless he buys a ticket.
Ummmm…Christians can’t judge other people????
So Christians have to accept anyone to babysit their children, they can’t judge the babysitter? So the 16 yr. old, heavy tattoo, smoking, drug taking girl comes to babysit, and we have to say ok, because now we can’t judge?
Guess Christians can’t be on a jury then…
How do Christians decide who to vote for, if they aren’t allowed to judge?
Why can’t people, who should know better, understand what judgment is all about.
and why can’t simple minded newsmen challenge them on this stupid statement “Christians can’t judge”.
Thackeragency: “It’s OK, I’m used to people not understanding what I’m saying. I’m sure that in 10 years everyone will be saying that they ALL thought Chris Paul was the ‘greatest player in the history of the league’ 20 years ago.”
Cool down now, tiger, cool down. He’s a great young point guard, but you’ve obviously got a man-crush. Watch for the end of the honeymoon period post All-star game. N.O. will hit more than a few over-due bumps (see: massive migration of talent to the Western Conference) and he will NOT be MVP this year. Oh, and did you see him get manhandled by Deron Williams the game before the Phoenix game? Deron always handles Paul head-to-head. Go back to college and you’ll see the same, although they’re best freinds. Your theory on Charles Barkley being overrated is laughable at best. Did you watch the man play? He was incredible. Unstoppable for a decade, back when the court was littered with hall of famers.
Parting question: should David Stern move Boston, Orlando and Detroit to the west and just cancel the Eastern Conference? I’m only partly kidding. It’s a shame that some of these incredible Western teams will be sqeezed out of the playoff picture.
I am pro choice too but Barkley comes across as a self righteous, intolerant, prig when he calls out other people for being “intolerant” and “judgmental”- projection anyone?
celebrities think their opinions are worth more than the average person’s
The media perpetuates this mentality. Why do you think Blitzer had Chuck on to talk politics?
Even Congress brings in actors to testify as if they were experts.
I doubt if Chuck has ever read past the first page of the Bible. He is an idiot.
elifino on February 16, 2008 at 7:58 PM
Not sure about that..
He is probably referring to Matthew 7
Matthew 7:1-6
1″Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3″Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
6″Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.
Not sure, what Charles is talking about though, OR what his hangup is..
I’m, Pro-Choice… And Anti-Abortion. I’m Still a Conservative
I believe in changing peoples minds into NOT having an abortion, rather than NOT allowing the option.
I’m for “Two People Domestic Partnerships”/”Civil Unions”
(And Sexual orientation, doesn’t even need to enter into the equation) I’m a Still Conservative
I believe, that two sisters that are in their fifties that live together should get the same, tax benefits as a Married couple.
Just another one of those people who only know one verse of Scripture, “Judge not,” which they truncate halfway through and take out of context. On top of that, they ignore everything else the Scripture says about that subject.
All so they can judge anyone who makes a moral statement as “unChristian.”
News flash: Scripture says a lot about judging and judgement. Unfortunately, people tend to quote the parts they like and ignore the rest.
1) This verse in context, Mat 7:1
Judge not, that ye be not judged.
is directed at those hypocrites who judge people for doing wrong without living by the same standard. It says, that if you judge another, you will be judged by the same standard.
2) In the next few verses, Jesus specifically takes aim at the Pharisees for setting themselves up as judges of the common people on the minutia of Old Testament Law while forsaking the weightier principles of judgement, mercy, and faith. Compare Mat 7:2-5
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
with Mat 23:23-24
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
3) Scripture also says in John 7:24,
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
. How exactly does that fit into the idea that Christians are never to judge anything?
The point of all this is that Christians are supposed to judge when it’s appropriate, but they’re supposed to judge fairly, righteously, and without hypocrisy. I could go on, especially about the need for mercy in judgement, but it’s not possible to really cover the whole topic of judgement that easily.
In short, you can’t reduce the subject of judgement in Scripture to a soundbite.
theregoestheneighborhood on February 17, 2008 at 12:17 AM

Obviously, everyone “judges”, look..
Matthew 7:6″Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.
Now obviously, that is directly under the part telling you NOT TO JUDGE..(sort of a contradictory, statement)
SO, It’s obvious.. that you MUST Judge to some extent, In your own fashion, as to what a “dog” or “pig” is.. So, for the same measure that you use against them or towards other people, that same measure is used against you.
It could be that peoples opinion on this could differ greatly, as to “what” a dog or pig “is”, or what type of person that would be.
If you are “really uptight” and feel that everyone or most people, are dogs or pigs, then you have set the bar very high for yourself and the odds of passing that test are slim..
This guy is WAY dumber than I thought he was…..he’s pro choice because it’s wrong to judge people who kill other people(babies)? What an absolute moron. He doesn’t have the IQ necessary to be a governor.
I’m a conservative and an atheist, so what does he think of people like me?
He’s just a dumb jock folks. Nothing more, nothing less. His opinions mean no more than yours or mine, he just has a louder sounding board to voice them. Once a dumb jock, always a dumb jock.

I grew up in NW Indiana, and watched all those Bulls Championships!
Just saying, Charles had to be “OK”, to even be in the league at that time, with so much talent that was in the NBA back then.
The guy is a rock head, I never would have wanted him on my team back then, but he was still “OK”, or pretty good.

“Fake Christians?”

Errrrr…..Charles, the Bible DOES say christians should judge others…..
But use RIGHTEOUS judgement..

ctmom on February 16, 2008 at 9:16 AM

The GOP should drop the issue and figure out how they are going to make middle income families better off before they lose those families to the Dems.
dedalus on February 16, 2008 at 1:20 PM
Karl Malone in his prime was superior to Charles Barkley in his prime. Barkley was flamboyant while all Karl did was grab rebounds, shoot brilliantly for a big man and run the pick and roll with Stockton to perfection.
I recall what Scottie Pippin had to say about Charles. When Pippin went to Houston to play one season with Charles, Scottie was sickened by Charles’ lack of discipline, his refusal to practice properly and Charles’ inattention to detail.
Larraby on February 16, 2008 at 1:23 PM
Yeah, Karl Malone and John Stockton don’t deserve to be in the Hall either because they didn’t get a ring. Karl Malone was a better player than Barkley. Malone and Stockton stayed at the same team their whole career and almost won a ring there. Barkley went to teams because he thought they’d win.
ThackerAgency on February 16, 2008 at 1:26 PM
Did Scottie’s discipline include sitting on the bench when he didn’t like Phil Jackson’s play call in a playoff game against the Knicks?
I agree with you on Malone. He and Stockton were the best tandem in NBA history. Malone was the quintessential power forward and the best in history when he played. Though there are a bunch of 6-9 to 6-11 guys playing now that can score and rebound who are pretty good too–Garnett, Duncan and now that he’s moved back to PF from C, Amare Stoudemire.
dedalus on February 16, 2008 at 1:33 PM
Chris Paul is the best young point guard in the NBA. His matchup with Nash and the 132-130 2OT win last week was probably the best game of the year.
If Paul never wins a championship, he’ll still belong in the HOF. Big Shot Bob Horry with all his rings shouldn’t get into the HOF unless he buys a ticket.
dedalus on February 16, 2008 at 1:44 PM

INFDL on February 16, 2008 at 2:08 PM
Yep, or let Portland and Houston play in the East instead of NJ, Wash, or Philly.
Last few years the championship series seemed to be played between San Antonio, Dallas or Phoenix with the East being an afterthought.
At least this year the West winner will face a real challenge with Boston and the guys who moved East in the off season.

1) This verse in context, Mat 7:1
is directed at those hypocrites who judge people for doing wrong without living by the same standard.
Compare Mat 7:2-5
with Mat 23:23-24
3) Scripture also says in John 7:24,
