Forget the CPAC speech. This would bump his approval rating among conservatives by 20 points.

LOL….nice.
Livefreeordie on February 14, 2008 at 8:41 AM
It sure would bump his approval rating. Why don’t you guys tell him to do a current ad of this, with that message at the end that says “I’m Maverick John McCain and I approved this message”… that would really make it awesome.
TOPV on February 14, 2008 at 8:42 AM
A nice way to start the day!
nailinmyeye on February 14, 2008 at 8:43 AM
Pretty funny, especially the “You’ll believe anything.” I’ll always have a soft spot for non-sequiturs.
Yoosaion on February 14, 2008 at 8:52 AM
Blowing gas for a blowhard.
Nice.

Hehe.
BTW, check out this orgy of anti-Americanism at the NY Times comments section. Might make a good post.
Baphomet on February 14, 2008 at 8:58 AM
That’s a good find.

The burp of a nation.
Shy Guy on February 14, 2008 at 9:00 AM
AP, how dare you use humor to put McCain in a good light. RINOs like you are destroying the Republican party!
amkun on February 14, 2008 at 9:06 AM
heh…love it!
JetBoy on February 14, 2008 at 9:11 AM
What the hell is ‘global knowledge’?
Hmm, seems wrong to be discussing a link within a link.
Then again, most threads here go off-topic pretty damn fast..
But me stop now.
Bed.

Too much Valentine’s chocolate, Senator McCain?
jgapinoy on February 14, 2008 at 9:19 AM
Where does someone get such footage of Ms. Clinton? I’m surprised her campaign doesn’t have a tighter rein on footage like that. Good job by the fellows who found this stuff.

Why does every video on Hot Air say its no longer available for me??
Darksean on February 14, 2008 at 9:28 AM
That’s (burp) how Hitlery sounds when she criticizes (burp) her enemies. Those enemies when captured are (farted on) as they are treated like no-class citizens.
MSGTAS on February 14, 2008 at 9:50 AM
Darksean,
Try opening it in IE. I get the same problem sometimes. There a View In IE extension for Firefox that comes in handy for times like this.
IreneFingIrene on February 14, 2008 at 9:55 AM
I know the McCain camp didn’t do this, but this kind of thing may help him…anything to make McCain seem more youthful.
Little off topic, but what does anyone make of the report that Mark McKinnon, McCain’s real ad man, plans to abandon the McCain campaign if the Democrat nominee is Obama. Apparently he is a coreless political hack who has said, “I just don’t want to work against an Obama candidacy.”
flyfisher on February 14, 2008 at 10:09 AM
Thanks, Irene!
A little anticlimatic, but at least I wasn’t working for a minute.
Darksean on February 14, 2008 at 10:14 AM
A beautiful summary of the McCain vision.
Valiant on February 14, 2008 at 10:17 AM
That was kinda funny.
CP on February 14, 2008 at 10:22 AM
Looks like he’d fit right in at our dinner table!
sheesh on February 14, 2008 at 10:32 AM
I guess I’m the only one who thought it lame and stupid.
MadisonConservative on February 14, 2008 at 10:37 AM
I’ll see your lame and stupid, and raise you juvenile and embarrassing.
RushBaby on February 14, 2008 at 10:47 AM
Where are we? We all want Hillary to lose, but does McCain match up as well against Obama in the general E? The contest becomes generational then, and Obama would probably win.
The last Senator elected President? John Kennedy. As the race
stands now, a Senator will get the job-this is historic, and I feel that people will want to be on the right side of history, and will vote for Obama.
On the day of our caucus, a friend asked me which party Obama was with, because she wanted to vote for him. Think about that.
Doug on February 14, 2008 at 10:56 AM
Have you seen their “Yes We Can” spoof? It’s great.
dave_lantos on February 14, 2008 at 10:57 AM
Oh come on. Lighten up a little. Yeah, it was immature, but it was still funny.
Nineball on February 14, 2008 at 10:59 AM
Isn’t that contributing to Global Warming?
Joe Mama on February 14, 2008 at 11:01 AM
Don’t worry you didn’t miss anything. I’m usually easy to please when it comes to humor but, that was just stupid.
boomer on February 14, 2008 at 11:07 AM
I thought McCain was in favor of solving global warming. Now we fing out what an eager contributer he is to the problem.
Mallard T. Drake on February 14, 2008 at 11:33 AM
Beautiful! With the Oscars coming, is there still time to get this in as best short film?
Pope Linus on February 14, 2008 at 12:54 PM
I wonder where he got that footage of Hillary answering the phone? Too funny.
