Of course: Ex-Republican Linc Chafee to endorse Obama
posted at 11:35 am on February 14, 2008 by Allahpundit
Because McCain — McCain — is too conservative, I guess. Pick the punchline: McCain ripping on the Club for Growth last year for attacking Chafee during his unsuccessful reelection bid? Or Chafee refusing to switch parties in 2001 even as Mac himself was allegedly reaching out to Democrats? Exit question: Who’s the maverickiest of them all?
Update: He’s endorsing a guy who actually campaigned against him. Although so has Joe Liebs, hasn’t he?

Blowback

They are mutually jealous of craptastic maverickism.

So this was Obama’s big endorsement? Big whoop.

Nice to see life in the private sector hasn’t changed Missing Linc at all.

Chafee needs to wiggle his child-bearing hips back under the rock from whence he came.
Douche.

“Hi, I’m Lincoln Chafee and I miss being in the spotlight”
That is all.
Good Luck and Good Night.

Does he go to the same barber as Joe Wilson?

Did anyone expect any less from this poor man’s Steve Doocy. (And by “poor man’s” I mean “ugly ass version of”.)

Big gulps, huh? Alright! Well, see ya later…

The philosophy of dimissing conservartism as long as the guy can win is a bad one. Lincoln Chafee and Arnold Schwarzenegger is what you get. The grassroots just might be taking the party back. Amen.

Stickin’ it to the man! Right on, brotha.
Chafee’s politics and his feathered hairdo appear to be stuck in the 1970s.

No surprise

Unless he can change into a conservative, black women…doubtful..
but keep wishing :-)

Heh. So that is where the Chafe has been. He completely dropped off the local radar (I listen to WPRO in the car) after Whitehouse beat him.
BKennedy on February 14, 2008 at 11:58 AM
BTW, I can’t help it your candidate is a liberal in disguise when it suits him. Take it up with him…
dang.

Hey, compared to those two, McCain IS a conservative..
Priscilla on February 14, 2008 at 12:08 PM
Glad ya liked it… But I feel I need to clarify, as rereading my comment leads to the impression that I’m implying Doocy himself might be this despicable. Not at all, Doocy’s a good guy. I just saw the opening to mock Chafee for looking like Doocy… if Doocy was hit by a truck.

Chafee can take his Arab terrorist loving loser image back to the nations smallest state. There was something unusually vile about him when he was in the Senate. I get the same uneasy felling when I listen to Charles Hagel.

What a shocker. If John McCain weren’t running as the GOP nominee, the rat bastard traitor would be endorsing Obama just like his pals from camp RINO.
highhopes on February 14, 2008 at 12:40 PM
And the Republican National Committee along with El Presidente Jorge Wahabi bush endorsed this bastard and sent money for his campaign.
Hilts on February 14, 2008 at 12:42 PM
My dissatisfaction with the GOP stems from the way they kept supporting and funding people like Chafee, Specter, Snowe, Warner and McCain. I wanted (and still want them) to fund real conservatives.
The leftists in the GOP managed to hijack the primary process and put an awful candidate like McCain at the top of the ticket for no better reason than he is a RINO willing to kick the “Jesus Freaks” and social conservatives out of the party. Perhaps after the debacle of four years of Obama, we can weed these traitors out of the party and start anew with Reagan conservativism not the faux conservatism of those telling be to shut up and ignore all the ways McCain has p*ssed on my values for the last few decades.

Chaffee is a left wing RINO . . . who cares what this idiot says or does?
rplat on February 14, 2008 at 1:23 PM
I wonder if Chaffee actually has any Rep. friends? if so, how could they stand him? what a mental mess he must be.
jimmer on February 14, 2008 at 1:29 PM
Lincoln Chaffee – a “Republican” only Rosie could love. And Mother Sheehan. And Hugo Chavez. And…
Wind Rider on February 14, 2008 at 1:39 PM
It should be noted that Chafee chose to announce his Obama endorsement on the very same day that McCain is campaigning Rhode Island. Hell of a guy, that Linc.
LamontCranston on February 14, 2008 at 1:59 PM
I heard that Chaffee had been promise the Sec. of ass kissing job by Obama
