His full name is Mubarak Hussein Obama. It’s a fair point if you take the edicts of the koran literally.

ColdBore76 on February 13, 2008 at 10:37 PM

B. Hussein Obama is a Christian. No, really!

Buddahpundit on February 13, 2008 at 10:39 PM

Calling Barack, President Hussein is like called Bush, President Walker.

At this point I’m not sure if McCain even wants her support, Ann is beyond ridiculous. Voting Clinton over McCain is insane.

Complete7 on February 13, 2008 at 10:42 PM

By the way, can anyone name me a second example of a Christian named Hussein?

Buddahpundit on February 13, 2008 at 10:42 PM

According to Obama he is a “Christian” (at least in its typical liberal American fomr ala Jimmy Carter, Hillary and Bill and Gore (and as this blog likes to point out so much, we know what Muslims think of converts)…

and since the “true conservative” Bush says Muslims and Christians worship the same “god” (little g)…repeatedly…

what’s her point??

TOPV on February 13, 2008 at 10:43 PM

The Hussein schtick is dishonest, childish, and ultimately only makes Obama more sympathetic to undecided voters. Which is probably why Coulter keeps calling him B. Hussein Obama. She’s pretty clear about her support for an Obama presidency.

Yes, his name is Barack (which means “bless” in Arabic) Hussein.

Hiney Von Pewps on February 13, 2008 at 10:54 PM

Well, she’s wrong about Hillary being to the right of McCain on most things. . . but hey, she’s famous and I’m not.

I will take issue with something someone said on one of Cavuto’s shows on the Business channel earlier. He said, ‘I wouldn’t vote for Huckabee because he’s ‘evangelical’ and I know a lot of people who feel the same way.’

This is the problem with coming up with a new ‘class’ of people. Can you imagine if he had said he couldn’t vote for a Catholic, or he couldn’t vote for a Mormon? The outrage would have been unbearable. But hey, since we’ve got this whole new class of people to bash without actually having to worry about the Catholic League getting upset, by all means be as bigoted as you want to be.

I wouldn’t vote for Huckabee either, but it isn’t because of his religion. It’s amazing how ‘evangelicals’ have been set up like this. . . The reason it is amazing is that every president except ONE has been ‘evangelical’ (and that assumes erroneously that Catholics aren’t ‘evangelical’).

The media really does this country a dis-service to the point where I think we need to take another look at ‘freedom of the press’.

PRESIDENT BUSH: I do say that freedom is the Almighty’s gift to every person. I also condition it by saying freedom is not America’s gift to the world. It’s much greater than that, of course. And I believe we worship the same God.

It appears you know about as much about Islam and Bush knows about Christianity.

What a dilemma? If Bush worships the same “god”…does that mean you voted for a Muslim (since we know what Muslims think of Christ)? Hmmm…You do the math.

billy on February 13, 2008 at 11:08 PM

But evangelicals got “set up” by seven uninterupted years of dominance over the nation’s politics.

‘Evangelicals’ got set up by exit polls asking if people are ‘born again’ or ‘evangelical’ Christians.

So now you are saying that people shouldn’t have voted for Bush because he’s ‘evangelical’? Again, you say ’seven years’ and you blame ‘evangelicals’ when every president but one has been ‘evangelical’.

Why is it the problem of this new class of people who have been demogogued by the media? They had to separate Protestant Christians from Catholics because they want to bash, and they know that Catholics won’t put up with even the slightest of snubs.

ThackerAgency on February 13, 2008 at 11:08 PM

doubleplusundead on February 13, 2008 at 11:06 PM

Explain what? She’s a Muslim, then?

According to Islam, a Muslim is always a Muslim. If he or she changes his religion, he or she is killed according to Islamic Law. Islam is also inherited in the family. Children in their Muslim mothers’ womb are Muslims before they are born.

Muslims will do anything to support, defend their “brothers” the other Muslims, including killing, slaughtering, mass-murdering all those who are not Muslims, not only in self-defense, but to propagate Islam as the Qur’an, the Sunna, the Hadith and the “prophet” instructed, and wage wars of aggression especially after the month of Ramadan (their “holy” month of fasting).

Put all that in the context of this Muslim Barack Hussein, and you will know what I am talking about.

Indy Conservative on February 13, 2008 at 11:19 PM

I had to go back and watch that again…Did she really say that Hillary would be better than McCain if there were another terrorist attack? Is she high?

To suggest that McCain’s reaction to an attack would be to visit Mecca is flat out dishonest. There is no rational course of reasoning that gets you there. Principled opposition to torture (which I may not agree with) does not make him a weak CinC or an appeaser. In fact, I expect he would be ruthless in responding. Barack is a fluffball.

If the Muslims wanted him, they’re welcome to him.

Hed make a good muezzin in some obscure Saudi village.

He shouts meaningless slogans with great gusto repeatedly.

All you need for that job description.

But he’s about as ‘religious’ an any shallow, machiavellian politician… simply tactically.

(Even Saddam Hussein suddenly found it handy to be a “devout”.)

Trying to play up that Barack is a ‘Muslim’ is silly.

He’s more risky than that without any added innuendo.

An airhead who might get his finger on The Button.

(Which is more dangerous than all the Muslim nations combined.)

profitsbeard on February 13, 2008 at 11:37 PM

Ann uses his middle name because it riles people up…that’s kind of her shtick. And frankly it does make a difference to some voters who will not vote for a candidate that ‘might’ be a Muslim. There was some hesitation among primary voters about electing a Mormon, for goodness sake. And it wasn’t that long ago that electing a Catholic to the Presidency was questionable.

I think Obama has an excellent shot at winning the Presidency. I also think it will be a disaster and there is little guarantee that there will be a Reaganesque figure to ride in to save the day once more.

In fact, I kind of doubt it.

And who would’ve thought that the American electorate had gotten so stuck on stupid? How did they degenerate so rapidly? The GOP was riding so high on 1/21/05. Talking about a rapid decline! Most of us, including Ann, simply didn’t realize how bad things had become.
Ann and the rest of us will get our bearing and when we do we’ll all realize that its time to start forming up the New Republican Party (NRP) or the Republican National Party (RNP) or what ever this new party will be called. Getting ready for 2012. The GOP had a chance to get its dysfunctional house in order but blew it. Time for conservatives to wipe the dust from their feet. DD

could we be an weaker?

Exactly.

Can you see T. Roosevelt, Andrew Jackson, D. Eisenhower or Washington sobbing because things aren’t going their way? I can’t either. I can, however, see them gritting their teeth and taking the fight to the enemy.

She is right almost all the time….plus she’s hot….perfect babe.

Thank you God, for Ann Coulter.

Looks like Barack Hussein wants to go back to his Islamic roots, in case you didn’t know:

Obama wants summit with Muslim countries

Thu Jan 31, 2008 9:28am EST

PARIS (Reuters) –

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama told a French magazine in an interview that if he wins office, he will hold a summit with Muslim countries to better the United States’ image in the world.

“Once I’m elected, I want to organize a summit in the Muslim world, with all the heads of state, to have an honest discussion about ways to bridge the gap that grows every day between Muslims and the West,” Thursday’s edition of Paris Match quoted Obama as saying,

“I want to ask them to join our fight against terrorism. We must also listen to their concerns,” Obama said in the French-language transcript.

The Illinois senator is running neck-and-neck against senator Hillary Clinton from New York to lead the Democratic ticket in November’s presidential election.

Surveys around the world show high levels of anti-Americanism in the aftermath of the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Negative opinions are strongest in the Muslim world, according to the Pew Research Center.

They didn’t have the kind of problems from inside that we have to deal with today, fighting a foreign enemy is tough, fighting one with a powerful press and a major chunk of your own government that propagandizes and works to undermine you? Much tougher. We’re not going to be able to see to it that jihadism is defeated nearly as effectively until we can deal with that problem first. Ann giving that press a sword to attack us with isn’t helping matters, it undermines our ability to establish a foothold and counter the press.

RJC Criticizes Obama’s Call for Muslim Nations Summit

Contact: Press Secretary Suzanne Kurtz

Friday, February 1, 2008

Washington, D.C. (February 1, 2008) —

Republican Jewish Coalition Executive Director Matt Brooks responded today to the recent comments made by Sen. Barack Obama in an interview with Paris Match (January 31, 2008).

As reported by Reuters, Sen. Obama said in this interview: “Once I am elected, I want to organize a summit in the Muslim world with all the heads of state, to have an honest discussion about ways to bridge the gap that grows between Muslims and the West… I want to ask them to join our fight against terrorism. We must also listen to their concerns.”

“We are deeply troubled by Senator Obama’s desire to ‘hold a summit in the Muslim world, with all heads of state’ — many of whom have yet to renounce terrorism or refrain from anti-Semitic incitement,” said Brooks. “Nowhere in the Paris Match article does Senator Obama affirm Israel’s right to exist. Nor does he condemn the repeated terrorist strikes against Israel — the only stable democracy in the region.”

“Further in his interview, Senator Obama said he wanted to listen to the ‘concerns’ of these nations. For many, their biggest concern is Israel’s existence. It’s worrisome that Senator Obama wants to ‘listen’ to those calling for Israel’s destruction. It’s also worrisome that he didn’t use this interview to call on Muslims to stop teaching hateful anti-Semitic and anti-Israel propaganda in their schools and textbooks.”

“By asking Muslim nations, some of whom actively train and fund Hezbollah and Hamas, to ‘join our fight against terrorism,’ Senator Obama once again demonstrates his shaky foreign policy judgment and raises questions about his commitment to Israel’s security. For all those who care about Israel, Senator Obama’s Muslim nations summit is a cause for alarm and concern,” said Brooks.

Ann is getting the way Madonna is or was. Madonna isn’t quite so bad since she got married and got a life and family, but when she felt she wasn’t getting the attention factor that she needed she would say something or do something really half-cocked. Ann is starting to do the same.

It seems like everything she says lately is merely to keep her name up in lights. I was reading someone’s article on NRO last week, I can’t remember who, but they made a good point about her talking to YAF and our young, she has become too irresponsible in her delivery to be dealing directly with Conservative youth. Not unlike Madonna became with her young female fans.

When it becomes evident that one’s idol has jumped the shark for self gain it’s time to take a chair in the front row at Idol Worshippers Anonymous imediately.

By campaigning for Hillary Clinton?

Coulter has long since lost the plot.

Still, so long as she’s supporting the Dems and refusing to contaminate Mac’s campaign I’m happy.

Okay, I don’t understand half of what you said, being you apparently called yourself a princess and boasted your support of a candidate who has since dropped out. You want a cookie? So did a lot of us, and talking about who your parents know is as irrelevant as it gets. I made my point that if his name would have been Mussolini, the libs would have roasted him for it. Cheap? Maybe. Politics gets dirty, and if you’re going to complain about saying his NAME, you really need to suck it up, because you’re not going to survive till November.

And I don’t remember anyone taking Giuliani’s name to task. Maybe you made a point of tracking down anti-Giuliani people and making them your world, but they are not THE world. There were vitriolic opponents of every candidate, and you dealing with a few morons doesn’t make you some sort of omnipotent being. Get off your damn pedestal, because you’re not a princess. Your Romulin comment obviously pegs you as a vitriolic anti-Romney person, so what does that make you? And for the record, I was a Fred supporter. Most around here know that. Maybe you should do a little homework before spouting off ignorant piles about what others believe.

Eh, I’m in my early 20’s, and I got that she’s become as much of a liability as an asset to the movement years ago, I’m sure most of the YAF types do too, generally…maybe not. Whatever.

Dem in office: Republicans in congress fight, balance tends towards the right in Congressional elections in a couple years, failures for left-wing policies fall on Dem president, creating likelihood for opposing party to take White House in 2012.

McCain in office: Republicans in office pander, balance tends towards the left in Congressional elections in a couple years, failures for left-wing policies fall on Republican president, creating likelihood for opposing party to take White House in 2012.

MadisonConservative on February 14, 2008 at 12:13 AM

AprilOrit,
You make the same mistakes that we made in Korea and Vietnam, we didn’t account for the belief system of our enemy. The Muslims to which you refer are really bad Muslims and are afraid to speak out against the Bad Muslims for fear of being killed. See the only good Muslim is a bad Muslim, and the good Muslims want you dead! You just have to go with the Princess Bride logic and you will be OK. Their God, Profit, savior “dictates” that they subdue or kill non-believers, and that you had better believe. They are free to lie and cheat to better their position to further their goal of a Global Caliphate. You cannot look at them and analyze their actions with a Western mind, because you are fundamentally flawed in believing that most people are fundamentally good. It is not your fault, you were brought up that way – and they like it like that.

I’m not quite getting the logic of why it’s so bad for Barack Hussein to have had a Muslim father. So if Barry’s middle name was Tyrone and his dad had been an Buddhist, the Islamists would just love him to pieces? /yes, that’s snark

All of a sudden we’re caring whether the Islamists like any of us now?
