New terror threat: Mommy bombs

Fox did a video segment on this new threat assessment earlier today.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is reminding law-enforcement officials of the increased use of female suicide bombers worldwide, and warning that women terrorists might hide explosives in devices “that mimic the look of a pregnant woman.”
The unclassified DHS threat assessment, released Monday and obtained by NBC News, shows photographs of “pregnancy prosthetics,” hollowed-out devices that could hold explosive devices. The report says “female suicide bombers have used devices that make them appear pregnant to hide explosive devices.”
The DHS report states that terrorists are using female bombers more frequently, in part because these attacks generate “more widespread media exposure.” It adds: “Continued use of female suicide bombers-the most recent example being a 3 February 2008 attack at the main railway station in Colombo, Sri Lanka-indicates that terrorists judge this tactic as effective in increasing defenses and thwarting security measures.”
Terrorists in Iraq have taken to using mentally impaired women as unwilling and unwitting suicide bombers. There is no depth to which they will not sink in carrying out their mass murders. In the Down Syndrome case, the terrorists are obviously using the assumed innocence of the bomb carriers to douse suspicion. In this case, they’re using the evidence of life to mask intent to kill.

Summary: US Troops on a daytime patrol came across some two dozen bodies of children naked, starving to death, chained to the floor, and covered with flies. All this at an orphanage for special needs children. All this while new clothes and food were secured in their original packaging down the hall. The US soldiers believe the orphanage was selling the supplies to a market.
CBS reported on the story and the bravery and heroism of the US troops. As if the story wasn’t bad enough itself, the labor and social affairs minister (Mahmoud Mohammed al-Radhi) attacked the US troops and CBS for reporting a lie. He claims the children are in perfect health and CBS’s report was a lie.

Thanks for the warning DHS…but you are a bunch of losers…A government joke……How about pen bombs, doll bombs…bike bombs….exploding letter bombs..car bombs…package bombs….baseball bombs…etc, etc, etc…You can’t find your own butts much less stop terrorists that infiltrate our borders… God Help our harbors and port cities…..

So, it seems apparent that they (Islamic Fundamentalists) can do it, the question remains as to why they aren’t. Is there a serious recruiting problem in North America or are they just waiting.
Quite honestly, the risk of some regular nut walking into a mall and exploding himself is probably much higher than a Muslim fanatic doing the same.

On the contrary, I’m sure a memo from the TSA to all it’s airport screeners will go something like this:
“As a result of new DHS information, do NOT give any additional scrutiny to middle eastern looking women of child bearing age”

Believe me, I feel your pain (pardon my Clintonese). Currently, I’m in school, and in a mandatory political science class. I’m the class bad guy because the instructor assigned us to address a body of important issues, and, in congressional-style, whittle it down to a few for closer scrutiny. My #1?
Islamofascist terrorism.
The first thing out of their mouths was crap like ‘why is islamic terrorism any worse than any other’? I challenged them to recall the last time a FARC VBIED had gone off in LA, CA. Then, I asked them to tell me about the last time the IRA had killed people with a bomb, or set up a sniper zone? I asked them about when the last time the Tamil Ten Tigers had attacked Boston. Or to tell me the details about the last time French-Canadian separatists had attacked Detroit. Failing to do that, I asked them to at least tell me the last time Basque had killed an Iowa senataor.
Needless to say, they couldn’t do it, and they still glare at me (as well as lack the courage to directly confront me on any similar issues).
Believe me, I know that sentiment: the school I’m being put through by the corporation is Henry Ford Community College, which is in the HEART of Dearbornistan. Everywhere you look, there are attractive girls forced to dress like ninjas, and they’re reinforced by a provisional brigade sized element of hard-core leftists. I’m probably the only Republican and Conservative in my political science class, which is thoroughly dominated by liberals and muslims, all of whom have taken an exceptionally dim view of my calling islamic terrorists a serious problem (especially in light of the fact that it’s so obvious that islamic terrorism is so clearly America’s fault, and Osama bin-Laden is totally innocent). The tactics of terrorists, including the murder of mentally ill women to, in turn, murder other innocent civilians, means absolutely nothing to them. The creation of a ‘constitition’ by a certain terrorist organization that states they’re dedicated to the destruction of Israel is equally nothing to these vapid homicide apologists.
