Huckabee, then Hillary, then McCain, then Obama.

Nothing to be thrilled with, but some are worse than others.

First of all let me say kudos to MKH for posting here. Secondly I understand what she was trying to do but I couldn’t bring myself to it. I started sweating and my hand was shaking, I just couldn’t. So I “sucked it up” and scribbled for Johnny “Stockholm” McCain. I am not proud and still felt sick but I did it. This by far is the worst election I have delt with and I will hate myself when he passes his new Shamnesty bill.

Well thank you for that clear concise persuasive argument.

Now I trust McCain not to continue his assault on the First Amendment and set a precedent for removing Constitutional freedoms.

Whew, all I needed was being insulted, and talked to like I was a child; and now I believe that voting for damage to the Constitution is a good thing. Maybe we can even get open borders, terrorists in U.S. courts with whatever rights we have left, and a 50 cent gas tax. Hooray, now I’m enthused and motivated.

Or not. McCain, his Constitutional crisis, and his work for 7 years trying to dismantle the First Amendment are more dangerous than a Dem president. So, I may vote for Hillary myself; but I’ll wait until November to do that.

The lesser of two evils is “not the Republican candidate”… and that is a sad state of affairs. But I will suck it up and vote for the candidate who will do the least lasting damage to the country. Whoever the Dems nominate.

I said “f it” today in VA and I didn’t vote for anyone.

I didn’t want to give my vote to McCain or Huckabee. A Romney protest vote would’ve just been a waste of my time. And I just couldn’t get over the disgusted feeling I had thinking about voting for Clinton… So, eff it.

Except that if you make the decision yourself, and you’re executing the strategy with the purpose of producing a better outcome for yourself than you otherwise would expect to see (either in the long or short term), it is in fact, unequivocably, a vote in support of yourself. (That, incidentally, would be the meaning of the “strategic” bit…)

It’s not mischief at all. Mischief implies you are doing it to have some fun, that you are playfully trying to cause annoyance. When you crossover to actually help block the most liberal Senator in the country who happens to be a deity to most of the media (especially Chris Matthews who can’t get out of Obama’s tush) – it’s not mischief, it’s dead serious.

Is this somehow in reference to her gunshow comment? I’m thinking of picking up an XD45 soon. If Miss Ham like to help send some rounds downrange to break it in, I’m game.

But back to that Hillary vote. I agree with the strategy, but I’d have to be on a 72 hour psych watch after casting that vote. And I may be adjudicated mentally unstable and not be able to pick up that XD45 after all. :-(

Obama’s support is from some 98% Blacks, College Kids, 60s left overs still fighting civil rights and liberal idealogues. When you actually talk to the rest of the Dem voters you find them backing Edwards and Clinton. Clinton mainly gets women, feminist voters and whipped men. With Edwards out his male white voters will go to McCain. Obama will drive the race voters out against him in mass. Anyone who lives outside a major city knows exactly what I am talking about. People have not idea how racist this country is, maybe they do but are in denial. And there are many more racists then anti-Hillary voters.

Does anyone disagree that potential Hillary supporters are more likely to vote McCain than Obama’s? Not only the political likeness but the age gap of Hillary supporters are more in tune with McCains than Obamas. It just seems to me, and no one has argued otherwise yet, that taking down Hillary opens up more of the political spectrum to McCain. If we can just keep him from moving left into that territory, then we have ourselves a candidate, an an opponent (Obama) that a majority of the country would not identify with. I know the race thing is a factor though, and it does concern me that we’d be running against Obama’s race and not his ideas (or lack thereof). That definitely poses a problem. But all things considered, and I think this primary season showed this, people run to what they know. And they know Hillary. The Dems will get behind her if she’s the nominee. Better to face Obama in my view. Someone please take the other side of this argument and show me where I’m wrong.

At least voting for Shrillary lets the base of the party know that liberalism is not going to set a precedent. It is a vote of objection and not selling out your core beliefs. McCain gets in and liberalism has a definite foothold in our party. There is no difference between McCain and Shrillary.
