So Hillary is dismissing red states except the reddest state of all, Texas, because she might actually win that one. And even though the last Democrat to carry Texas was Jimmy Carter in 1976.

That’s interesting because John McCain’s support is based in the bluest of blue states where he doesn’t stand a chance of winning in the general.

Seriously though, Hillary Clinton has lost 20 of the last 28 primaries. It’s come down to Chelsea Clinton pimping for super delegates. Even a spin machine as experienced as the Clinton’s can’t spin this one by garden variety excuses and tears. Look for the re-emergence of the VRWC as the cause for her downfall.

Here is this absolutely ruthless, politically ambitious woman, wife of an equally absolutely ruthless, politically ambitious man, who so thought she was destined to be the First Female President of The United States, literally to the point where she thought she had this election wrapped up about two years back, and who is now getting her clock cleaned primary after primary by a guy who was a virtual unknown a couple of years back and who now stands to not only the Democratic candidate, but who may end of being the First Black President of The United States. And now you have the AP harping on her to stop making excuses for losing the way she is right now? Hey, there is only one excuse for why she is suddenly disappearing into Obama’s dusty wake, and that is that people are finally seeing that she is indeed an absolutely ruthless, politically ambitious woman, and no more than that. The Clintonistas thought they were building a political dynasty. Their big mistake was they failed to see that the foundation they were building on was sinking sand.

No, no, it’s better if she loses at this level! She will never be Evita! She will be stuck on the sidelines, plodding after the spotlight, pantsuit bulging unattractively. Bill will be out and seen…dating. Eventually they will retire to their walled estate in Dubai, where they will be treated like old Eurotrash royals without a kingdom.

Obama, the empty suit, the new kid on the block, is the perfect foil for a Republican or a republican, either one. Can’t wait till Hill is out and the media discovers the Che posters everywhere in Obamaland.

Blogging from the campaign trail…..

Hillary Clinton appeared in El Paso tonight in a dark adobe colored pant suit with stylish nouveau Mandarin cuffs.
She was met on stage just before the speech began by a poor Hispanic boy, selected to be humiliated to her purposes by being forced to appear in an arcane border town tourist souvenir outfit complete with velvet sombrero.
Looking like the racially stereotypical and insensitive images once seen in Speedy Gonzales cartoons, he presented her with tropical flowers and offered Hillary a photo op with him before being manhandled off stage by campaign officials.
Hillary, frog voiced from years, and most recently, campaign trail miles of shrill, maladroit vociferation, began her oratory.
She spoke of her history in the region registering voters and visiting the haciendas of the underclasses in the past, greedily consuming vast pots of frijoles and tortillas along the way.
This appeared to resonate with the audience for a few moments before she quickly turned to ramblings of healthcare outside of free emergency rooms, esoteric discussions of mortgage repossessions and predatory lending practices that quickly left the audience confused about these all but alien topics.

As the crowd descended into a restless hush she struggled to regain their attention through the use of obtuse hand gestures and ever more strident rhetoric about issues that seemed well outside their general sphere of experience.
At times she appeared almost angry with the crowd for their lack of exuberant response. Finally she mercifully concluded allowing the earnest but confused crowd to disperse as the incongruous but jubilant music blared at them seeming to signify fiesta without the customary pinata.

Undaunted some members of the audience charged the stage in confusion, swatting at the candidate with broomsticks as she ran off stage. Presumably she was mistaken she was for an oversize pinata.
The secret service restrained the revelers peaceably.
