Video: The Dean scream, Super Bowl edition; Update: “We stomped you out!”

posted at 1:43 pm on February 6, 2008 by Allahpundit

Yeah, two minor differences. One: Unlike Dean-o, the Giants didn’t just fantasize about winning on the road. Two: Unlike Dean-o, it’s not Strahan who had the conniption here, it’s Belichick.

11-1 away from home, including three conference playoff wins over divisional champions — among them the number one and two seeds — and then the Super upset of the undefeated Patsies. The man’s got a right to scream. Click the image to watch.

Update: “I don’t just want to beat John McCain – I want it to be a landslide.” Starring Maverick as Plaxico Burress?

Update: Jerky — and yet awesome.

Wow, a New Englander shouldn’t have enjoyed that so much… but as a Vermont, my disdain for Howard Dean makes it okay! Friggin’ hilarious. I’m so glad every time I see that the Dean Scream will be remembered.

RightWinged on February 6, 2008 at 1:47 PM

Sweet.

It’s been 4 years, and Howard Dean is still an @ss monkey.

Dr.Cwac.Cwac on February 6, 2008 at 1:51 PM

Wow. Is Dr. Dean a proctologist? ‘Cause Strahan sounded like he had Howie’s hand up his back.

baldilocks on February 6, 2008 at 1:54 PM

Strahan was was enjoying the hell out of yesterday; see if you can find the clip of him at City Hall, showing how the Giants defense stomped Brady. Guy jumped in the air so high he nearly cleared the podium.

TC@LeatherPenguin on February 6, 2008 at 1:55 PM

ROFL, that’s genius

clghitis on February 6, 2008 at 2:01 PM

That was exceptional.

Strahan’s “WE STOMPED YOU OUT!” is at the end of the parade clip.

Love My Giants!!! Still can’t stop smiling.

Only thing that put a taint on the parade was that asshat, Whoopie doing the introduction (Bloomberg’s invitation) rambling about “tainted politics” and “uh oh, the big white guys are telling me to get off the stage.” Stupid.

kcluva on February 6, 2008 at 2:42 PM

I was in NYC (the Slope) this weekend. What a bunch of pompous, obnoxious fans the Giants have. The NY Post was the worst.

Still, congrats to the Giants!

geckomon on February 6, 2008 at 2:45 PM

You’re kidding, right? They haven’t won in 17 years. If any group of fans know humility, it is us. Jerk.

I rest my case.

Hahaha

kcluva on February 6, 2008 at 2:49 PM

You’ve obviously never met a fan from Boston.

kcluva on February 6, 2008 at 2:51 PM

“…and all a y’all deserve to have the greatest…”

Spoken like a true New Yorker. Gotta love it!

And letting Shelly “the sh***eel”Silver anywhere near the parade. He was part of the miffed crew of Albany idiots who blocked the Giants from getting a parade their previous two Super Bowl wins because the team had moved their home field to Jersey (“as opposed to playing where, Shelly?”).

And?
I was in the middle of it in NYC. It was an obnoxious five days from Friday to Tuesday. If I was in Boston, I may have commented about Patriot fans. Alas, I was in NYC. Get it?

Dinkins was there too! I couldn’t believe it! Talk about people that had no business being there!

Maybe I don’t get you. You come in and say “a bunch of pompous, obnoxious fans the Giants have.” I respond and say you’re a jerk, and that somehow proves your point. But if you were in another city, you may have commented on them as well.

Maybe that says more about you rather than whatever city you happen to be in at the time.

You called me a jerk for pointing out the actions and attitudes I observed of the Giant fans in NYC. Which I admit, at best, a weak point to my comment. Hence my retort, “case closed.” That’s all.

Further, you stated that I obviously have not met a Patriot fan to which I pointed out that the context and reasoning of my comment render yours irrelevant.

You are stuck and wanting for outrage where none is befit. Not to mention you choose to dwell on my “Giant fans are obnoxious” statement while obviously missing my congratulation that follows.

Fight fight fight!

MirCat on February 6, 2008 at 4:32 PM

I’m just glad it was a good game.
