Shep goes nuclear on Naomi Wolf: “Don’t you Fox on me ever!”

posted at 3:58 pm on February 6, 2008 by Allahpundit

And through it all, up to and including his rebuke of her loathsome “babies” line, she wears that trademark creepy, vacant, beatific smile.

Between this and watching Hillary and Obama crawl to “Fox & Friends” yesterday morning for airtime, it’s officially a good week in the News Corp./nutroots death struggle.

Shep was easy on her . . . he should have thrown her leftist but out into the parking lot.

Bryan on February 6, 2008 at 4:03 PM

He should have asked her if she was talking about Al Gore, not Kerry and Clinton.

Sue on February 6, 2008 at 4:03 PM

Naomi Wolf comes across as mentally ill. I am serious about this. She is either mentally ill or so morally bankrupt that she believes all her b.s. conspiracy theories.

Blake on February 6, 2008 at 4:04 PM

bbz123 on February 6, 2008 at 4:04 PM

Great fun! Good for Shep.

You’re right, AP. Wolf is creepy.

O-Dub on February 6, 2008 at 4:05 PM

The first Clinton was inside the beltway and she isn’t? The only difference is she is a she and he is black. Sorry if their are too many WHITE MALES for her in the US.

I meant: So morally bankrupt that she is willing to fabricate these conspiracy theories in order to make money.

/shrug

It’s her, and her party’s, and her party’s politics’ time in sun. Even if McCain were to win in ’08 (which he won’t), he’d still fold like a deck chair any time a leftist said boo. The man is a sock-puppet and a patsy for the left.

He’ll play flower girl to whoever runs against him this November, keep his seat in Arizona and continue undermining the conservative movement from the Senate a la “Gang of 14″ style horse-trading. Only this time, it’ll be out of pure spite instead of ambition.

SECOND LOOK AT SHEP!

Bryan on February 6, 2008 at 4:03 PM

Absolutely!! Shep has that fire in his belly!

On a side note, Naomi Wolf frightens me. I could so see her chopping someone up with an ax with that smile on her face.

Nineball on February 6, 2008 at 4:09 PM

I am noticing more libs are appearing on Fox these days. Hmmmm….

echosyst on February 6, 2008 at 4:09 PM

Naomi Wolf comes across as mentally ill.

No, more like a passive-aggressive. Taking a few cheap shots when she can’t stand up to the blowback, all with a big smile on her face.

(shudder!)

manwithblackhat on February 6, 2008 at 4:10 PM

Shepwned? She seemed kind of stunned, though she did recover fairly well. The point about our fighting brave all being at least 18 was spot on. I caught just enough of her “everyone is someone’s baby” retort to vomit a little.

I saw this happen live, and I was going to send a tip to you guys. Then I figured it would probably be here before I got my computer booted.

Shep seriously impressed me today. He turned on his blue lights and pulled that leftist zombie STRAIGHT to the curb.

capitalist piglet on February 6, 2008 at 4:14 PM

Obama and Hillary aren’t “inside the beltway” candidates? They’re senators. That’s about as “inside the beltway” as it gets.

forest on February 6, 2008 at 4:14 PM

Wolf: “Shep has dark hair, Hitler had dark hair……..So that must mean Shep IS Hitler!” I love her her “mind” “works.” (all in jest of course, not an actual quote)

I was there to see this and it was wonderful. :)

I wonder how our troops would feel about being referred to as “babies”.

capitalist piglet on February 6, 2008 at 4:16 PM

That was awesome. Only thing that could have improved it is if they had cut to AQ’s Preschool Training Camp video when she started in with “bring our babies home from Iraq.”

12thman on February 6, 2008 at 4:17 PM

Hey, Naomi, Ed Gein was somebody’s baby, too. I’m sure he would have enjoyed having you over for dinner.

bbz123 on February 6, 2008 at 4:17 PM

Earth tones, Al, earth tones.

Montana on February 6, 2008 at 4:18 PM

Hey, AP, off topic, but to let you know, your copyright statement is out of date. It says 2007 and of course it’s 2008.

On topic, Shep’s a bit of a freak, but gotta love how he fearlessly expresses himself. Anytime you can rail on Naomi Wolf and force her to stand behind some kind of position is a good time.

And he called her on the baby thing, which is good.

Christoph on February 6, 2008 at 4:18 PM

A digusting bi*ch like Naomi Wolf will make me hold my nose and vote for McCain instead of staying home in November.

SECOND LOOK AT SHEP!

Bryan on February 6, 2008 at 4:03 PM

I’ve never stopped liking Shep. True I don’t agree with him on everything (ie global warming), but if we turn our backs on anyone that doesn’t agree with everything we do then all we’d have left running would be McCain . . . oh crap! :)

- The Cat

MirCat on February 6, 2008 at 4:21 PM

Wow. I think Shep was a tad irritated. Think the Fox News guys get lots of razzing when they are out and about? Good for him!

And good for him for calling her on the “babies” line. I agree that they are all somebody’s “baby”, but parents should want and expect their children to grow up and be adults at some point. I tell my son he’ll always be my baby, but I don’t mean that I don’t want him to grow up!

TX Mom on February 6, 2008 at 4:22 PM

Wow. Well done, Shep. Naomi’s response to being challenged was typical left-speak. Dodge the question; denounce the questioner. Very nice to see that at least some journalists are unwilling to let people get away with that!

Dash on February 6, 2008 at 4:31 PM

FNC FTW! Go Shep!

Levinite on February 6, 2008 at 4:31 PM

With regard to the “our babies” line, that really reveals what how the left views everyone. They view citizens as babies who must surrender their rights and responsibilites to the nanny state. Everyone is already infantilized in their minds and thus must be taken care of by the state.
This is manifested in BHO’s “hope”, which is always accompanied with a laundry list of what the state must do for people without the slightist notion that individuals must take responsbilitity for themselves. It is also present in Hillary’s various socialist hand-outs and directives.

phronesis on February 6, 2008 at 4:35 PM

capitalist piglet on February 6, 2008 at 4:37 PM

Naomi Wolf is an incredibly simplistically-minded woman, and while she certainly isn’t “stupid”, she isn’t nearly intelligent enought to warrant that smug smirk on her face. I don’t understand why people even pay attention to her. She talks a lot, but rarely does anything come out of her mouth that isn’t a cartoonish leftist cliche.

On the left, though, she passes as a “thinker”. LOL.

Bryan on February 6, 2008 at 4:03 PM

Lol, seriously… What got in to him? He’s clearly a lib and reveals it all the time, but credit where it’s due this time. Bravo Shep.

And how disgusting was that “babies” line? It’s bad enough when they say “boys and girls” rather than “men and women”, or call them “kids” or “children”… But babies!!!??? WTF?!

Make no mistake, this is how Democrats feel about the troops – just a bunch of poor, dumb, disadvantaged children who can’t think for themselves, and on occasion they admit what we’ve always accused them of. An honest look at the modern Democratic Party should make anyone sick.

I am so glad that Shep did that. They can’t stand the truth.

I read an article about Fox on the Huff Post (just to see what they say). They were talking about asking hotel lobbies to change from Fox to CNN. It is pathetic. They are encouraging their readers to do those types of things to run Fox out of business.

But she never answered the question. And that wuss apoligized to her and let her get off without answering a simple question. Is Fox moving to the left out of fear of more female Democrets crying when they’re incapable of rational discussion?
