At best, getting run over by the Clinton freight train; particularly if Hillary should manage to win this thing. I was gonna say Foster’s disease, but that’s way farfetched….riiiiight?

I haven’t gotten any robo-calls, but I did get an email from a Reverend Yearwood of the Hip Hop Caucus urging me to “Take Action to End Greed and Share America’s Wealth.”

“A first step towards economic equality is taxing these buyout billionaires at a fair tax rate. It will not solve all the problems, but it is a strong and forceful beginning…”

I don’t call it heresy at all. I don’t believe EVERYONE should vote. If you don’t care about/follow/understand politics at all don’t screw it up for the rest of us.

Agreed. If you need pop stars to cajole you into getting off your lazy rear and to your polling place, if you rely on soundbytes from celebs for your information on issues feel free to stay at home. We do not need your vote.

Consider the percentage of people who take the trouble to keep themselves informed and compare that to the percentage who vote. That gap is already too large.

If you don’t feel the right to vote is inportant enough to exercise then please stay at home and watch American Idol.

They should bring back the voting tests. You should know something about American History, Politics and the issues to be allowed to vote. OH…and show valid ID.
