If the terrorists took down the Sears Tower in Chicago and killed another three thousand Americans, would anyone take comfort by saying, “Hey, at least we didn’t waterboard anybody.” When Al Qaeda cuts the throats of stewardesses, annihilates families going to Disneyworld, forces hundreds of office workers to jump off hundred story buildings, bathes others in flaming gasoline, and then claims the right to kill two million American children, then you just have to do whatever is necessary to stop that evil. Any lesser effort is immoral.

The only problem is he is still alive after the waterboarding which means it is not as deadly as the Demoncrates want you to believe.

However it is an effective tool to encourage a person to tell the truth without having to resort to Sodium Pentothal which is considered cruel and unusual punishment-but much neater.

To equate a measure, that is a proven tool, to the savaging of ones physical being is beyond contemptible.

You ultimately bask in the fact that the result is another roadblock in fighting the lowest form of human existence we know.

And it makes for additional tragic tales for you filth to use as an excuse not to fight such evil.

The current, and future leaders of this country should tread extremely carefully when putting their name on laws limiting our ability to fight the banes of society simply because if someone I love is killed by such, and water-boarding, sleep deprivation, even a good old ass-kicking could have saved them. Im looking for the criminal who put politics before my loved ones lives, and I probably wouldnt be the only one.

The recklessness of some of our purported moral experts kills people.

Two of these guys are responsible for killing 3,000 Americans on 9/11, and the other guy is responsible for killing 17 U.S. Sailors on the U.S.S. Cole. I can’t understand why anybody would have sympathy for these guys.

Certainly, these people are evil. And waterboarding is undertaken to prevent a greater evil from taking place.

I accept that. I recognize that. I support that.

But it’s still an evil practice. Using people – even unspeakably vile humans – as a means is dangerous.

I’ll have to differ from those who take enjoyment or celebration in this practice. I understand your point. I just don’t think it’s one we should embrace.

That being said, since it is in the news today, I’d like to see a microphone stuck in McCain’s face, and force him to make a comment.

No waterboarding necessary when the above is in play. I’d spill the beans after only a few times after the interrogator hits the “rewind” button.
