Two Palestinian bombers attempted a mass killing in Israel today; one detonated his bomb, killing at least 1 woman and wounding 38 others. The second was wounded before he could trigger his device. He tried to set the bomb off with medics and anyone else nearby. An Israeli police officer ends the ordeal.
Moshe Malak knelt down and opened the injured man’s coat. It was then that he saw the unexploded suicide belt.
“All my life passed in a few seconds,” Mr Malak said.
“I knew he could explode at any time. I knew he could push the button at anytime. I shouted at everyone to clear away.”
Earlier, the 36-year-old lawyer had been sitting in his office when he heard a large explosion from the city’s shopping centre.
A Palestinian suicide bomber had detonated his explosives, killing one Israeli civilian and injuring several others.
Rushing to the scene, Mr Malak saw one man lying motionless with blood trickling from behind his ear.
It was a second suicide bomber who had apparently been injured in the initial blast and had then failed to detonate his explosives.

Moral judgments not withstanding, the suicide bombing in Dimona on Monday is another chink in the siege imposed on all Palestinians in the occupied territories and it represents a continuity of the Palestinian rebellion that breached the wall between Gaza and Egypt last week.
The fact that two fighters succeeded in reaching Dimona in the south of Israel after crossing over to Egypt last week and then returning to conduct the operation is a blow to Tel Aviv’s claims that its siege of Hamas supporters is working.

These bombers came from Gaza, probably with supplies smuggled over from Egypt during the recent “open border” fiasco. You know these weren’t the only supplies brought into Gaza. Hamas didn’t tear down the border just to supply two suicide bombers. These were just the first, probably the first of many.
The question is, with Gaza awash in weapons and explosives and with would-be martyrs eager to explode Jews and get their 72 virgins, what is Hamas waiting for?

The Islamists had 11 days to bring in fresh explosives and supplies from Egypt. I fear there will be more of this in the weeks to come.
The goddamn BBC produced a story with the headline ‘rare suicide attack’ earlier, as if this was something that almost never happens, but have thankfully altered this now. I’ve posted elsewhere about the links between the BBC (which our public broadcasters buy material from) and al-Jazeera.

It seems it would be useful to point out to young muslim men that the god doesn’t miraculously protect one bomber from another bomber’s blast. One could urge them to consider whether this is a sign of the god’s indifference, incapacity, or both.

Also, any additional land the Israeli’s have beyond the Palestinian Mandate was seized after the previous mentioned wars, wars which the Israeli’s did not want or instigate. In other words, if the Arabs didn’t want to lose land to the Israeli’s then maybe they should think twice before attacking its neighbor unprovoked!
