Another day, another sycophant. If a comedian tells the same joke every day, multiple times to the same audience, it loses it’s value as humor and becomes an issue.

Sycophant? Hardly. You don’t suck up to a beta. It just isn’t done, even if you’re a beta yourself. AP’s sense of humor is worth defending on its own merit.

Comedians have become hugely successful for telling the same joke over and over again…some of them don’t even change the words each time. It’s their material, schtick, oeuvre, what have you…it’s their act. For every ‘you might be a redneck’ there’s a ‘here’s your sign’ or a ‘what’s the deal with….’

I love that people like benrand have the audacity to complain about Bill Belichick’s alleged classlessness and gracelessness. Really puts it all in perspective.

Combine the fact that their line and linebacking corps had an answer to every Patriot formation with the fact they teed off on Brady like he called their mommas a dirty name . . . Those guys were playing so hard they were out of gas in the fourth quarter . . . and the Giants were bound to crack that team.

True, three points isn’t a big crack, but it was big enough to squeeze a champioship through. That’s all it had to be.

It’s self-deprecating humor. A lot of humorists, like most artists, are willing to undergo a certain amount of suffering for their art. Or maybe he’s psychologically stable enough to not let it bother him if people he’s never met know something about an anonymous internet persona he posts under.

I note that you don’t seem to have any problem with sports posts on a political site, though…seriously, what gives?

Just have a passionate dislike for the cheap shotting scumbags called the New England Pastries. Most Steelers fans share it.

Brady went home after that game, had a shower, washed the sweat off, had a good meal, banged his supermodel girlfriend, and took some comfort in the three Lombardis he’s already won.

Flutie wouldn’t tattle under thumbscrew duress. But, he might respond to a subpoena. I think Specter should get involved in this, if for no other reason than to maintain Congressional stasis/gridlock and suck Brady into a negative publicity mess. We’ve got some time till pitchers and catchers report for spring training. May as well use it in an entertaining way.

I missed the first half so I can’t be sure But didn’t Brady get sacked taking his very first snap of the game ?

Brady has not seen that much pressure in his professional career. The Giants defense made the difference in the game. And if you ask me, Strahan was the man to win the MVP.
I don’t have stats, but he made Mr Brady *hit his pants quite few times…not to mention the times he landed his ass on the ground.

They won and they freaking earned it!

I am not a Giants fan, I was just rooting for a southern boy!

The Giant’s win was great. Plex came through. Manning deserved the MVP. Very enjoyable.
