Obama claims he passed a health care plan for all in IL. Well, my brother in IL who has diabetes and can’t get coverage has been searching for that plan for 3 years. Can’t find it. Can’t get a phone call answered. So he goes to a clinic the local hospital has where you pay what you can. He gets great care–and, sure, it comes out of the profits from our payments to the hospitals, but at least we know it’s being used well. As opposed to universal national health care.

I think I’m going to run for President in four years. I’m over 35, I’m a citizen. That’s about it, right? Oh wait, I’ve got charisma too… that should make me a shoe-in to much of the masses.

I was listening to Dennis Prager during my lunchtime errands and heard a caller say that if McCain is not the nominee he will vote for Obama because he is the most exciting candidate. What the heck sort of reasoning is that?
