Many of us non-libs have been accused of being too “black and white” in our thinking when debating issues.
How are you going to nuance this crap when it starts creeping into your neighborhood, libs? Are you going to find a gray area here? I’d like to see that. I’m not sure what would be funnier, a Don Rickles gig or the lib spin on this once it comes home to roost in America.

You know you touched on something I am particularly interested in. I don’t think the Rome analogy is pertinent. The United States of America is not an analogue to the The Roman Empire some 1500 years ago. I think we are closer to the Athenian Democracy in that we are not so much the conquering empire as the default greatest power. The weakness of our system is the ruling elite. We depend on their quality. They are of low quality now having largely inherited their station. We know these party animals from school. Our Empirator is the law. Law can be bent, but Men are predictably corruptible. George Washington bought us 75 years and Lincoln bought us a hundred more. Reagan bought us 20. Now look where we are.
The election of a Socialist government is the end of the Republic. The end of the experiment. The end of George Washington’s sacrifice. The end of Lincolns vision. The end of Martin Luther King’s dream.
Why are we so civilized? Why are we lying down for dissolution or our republic?
I am tired of being put to sleep.

I’ve heard that if you do this, especially muslim to Christian, you’re supposed to become dead as an ‘honor’ killing by other muslims. Why is he still alive? Yes, it is a very hard thing to watch in many respects. The once Great Britain, very good friends, taking the slow slide to suicide. The same thing can happen here if allowed. I think tho, it may be like WWII and Japan. Once the sleeping giant of America is awakened to the threat of the thug/killer muslims, they then will be destroyed, hopefully once and for all!

The eventual loss of freedoms and the “right to bear arms” is a logical progression due to the world’s continuing population expansion. (eventually we’ll outgrow the worlds ability to sustain us) The government knows that logically if there are arms in the hands of citizens, eventually they will be used against the government for there are many unpopular decisions that will have to be made by government in the near future.
It seemed for awhile that Americans had put off the progression of events by responsibly curbing our population growth. But alas, that chance was nullified by unfettered immigration by a group of people who not only want to come here to “share” our wealth, but want to have many babies to insure there right to stay and to possibly make their share larger. To the ignorant, our wealth is limitless and therefore our population continues to grow even beyond the ability of the census to accuratly record it.
I only hope that before our weapons are confiscated we are allowed to deal with Islam the way we deal with all other disease. Like Polio we must fight it until it’s eradicated. Only that way will we avoid the second dark ages. These people have been brainwashed since childhood. Re-education is fruitless when dealing with a malevolence so deeply ingrained as to make men kill sisters and daughters for their so called “honor”. I fear we will need our guns for one last war. Not a war for Christianity but a war for our minds and souls.
