Frum on McCain: “He is really trying to build a personal movement with the Republican party as its vehicle”

In this there’s much truth, although in hindsight the same could be said of Bush (which is reason enough to be wary of McCain). Is this a point that registers with rank and file Republicans, though? Bloggers and their readers see this through the bent lens of people who follow politics day in and out. What about the guy who knows McCain’s a “maverick,” disagrees with him on immigration, but doesn’t keep up closely enough to savor the little eruptions of antipathy towards conservative principles that occasionally fly off the Straight Talk Express? That, as much as his policies, is what adds spice to the anti-McCain animus and that’s what Frum is talking about here. “[H]e does not love this party, and the party knows it,” he says. Do they know it? Have you seen the polls, David? Click the image to watch.

First, thanks for the opportunity to join in, to those in charge on this site. I have a question that I’m sure someone here should be able to answer. Many people voted early and cast their ballots for Fred in my home state of TN. The polls here opened the wed. before the SC primary. Is TN a winner take all state, and if not, what happens with the delegates that Fred picks up? Just a tip: Watch for our RINO, Sen. Alexander to fall in lock step behind Juan McAmnesty as soon as he can get political cover.

Sorry if I’m brining already-reported news here, but Drudge has a link to the country’s largest Spanish-language newspaper’s endorsement of McCain.

Well NOW he will really get the illegal vote!

This guy’s a joke, right? Vote for goofy McCain because he ‘promised’ border security? This guy even resembles comedian Albert Brooks! Maybe he’s doing standup with Tucker as the straight man.

As I reported yesterday his secret border security plan involves training ground desert squirrels in martial arts. The governors of the border states will then be happy to certify the border “secure” and America will get the Z contingent.

And to me he looks like Steve Martin, especially when he makes one of his obviously false statements and gets this “i’m the idiot cat that ate the canary while everyone was looking” grins.

Yeah, I just hope there aren’t any bigoted racists at the polling booths, asking for proof of citizenship.

Well Juan Hernandez, a close friend and adivser of Juan McShamnesty believes citizenship is a quaint concept made obsolete by the obvious (to him) need to erase any distinction between the US and Mexico.

Yes, does the word American mean anything anymore? Does citizen?

Not to anyone associated with Soros. “Soros” is an esperanto (a language that was invented to erase all national identities) word meaning to “soar”, and “Soros” is all about destroying regimes and eliminating national sovereignty.

FWIW, I received one of those computer generated promo calls for McCain today. Normally I would have just hung up but instead I decided to listen to his little speech. It made me furious that one of his selling points was his vow to secure the border. I will never forget him or his boy Lindsey Graham telling me how racist I am for wanting to enforce the rule of law. It is for this reason alone that I am voting for Mitt next Tuesday.

Well nothing is beneath the man who likes calling bold-faced lies “straight talk express”. Did they use that famous phrase “he will secure the border FIRST” which is his code-speak for “six months after being elected President I will declare the border secure and then will give Amnesty to every single illegal”?

He absolutely will NOT win against Hillary and young, good-looking, very nice Obama.

Especially after being abandoned by those of us who will never forgive or forget.

He is Soros’s useful idiot to make sure that Hillobama are free to install Marxism in the US.

Who abandoned whom?
