Video: The obligatory “Billy Jeff unloads on Truther moron” post

posted at 4:45 pm on January 31, 2008 by Allahpundit

I prefer the lip-biting “how dare you” finger-wag-of-shame approach to cretins like these, but any emphatic humiliation is a good humiliation. Clinton is excellent in these confrontations, much better than anyone else on his side of the aisle. No equivocation, no willingness to “take another look.” Pure, straight, sneering dismissal. Just what the doctor ordered.

He gets the demography of the hijackers wrong — not all of them were from Saudi Arabia — but behavior like this deserves to be rewarded, so let’s reward it. Besides, the Truthers don’t mind. They’ve got a victory to crow about. Click the image to watch.

Credit where it’s due. Well said, Bill.

infidel65 on January 31, 2008 at 4:48 PM

Bill definitely deserves credit for taking them on. Bravo.

amerpundit on January 31, 2008 at 4:48 PM

Exit stage left, back to Kazakhstan with you.

Dorvillian on January 31, 2008 at 4:49 PM

Dude, you have got to be careful using “Bill Clinton” and “unloads” in the same sentence.

That being said, Truther morons deserve any shred of abuse they get and then some, so Clenis is actually in the right for once.

ReubenJCogburn on January 31, 2008 at 4:50 PM

They walk among us.

natesnake on January 31, 2008 at 4:50 PM

I’ll never be a Clinton fan but kudos to him for putting those idiots in their place.

mattyj86 on January 31, 2008 at 4:54 PM

Kooks are as kooks do

Kini on January 31, 2008 at 4:54 PM

Better late than never. The poll numbers wouldn’t have gotten up to 20% for the truthers if they had been confronted long ago instead of being allowed to fester in order to drive down Bush’s approval numbers.

pedestrian on January 31, 2008 at 4:55 PM

For once (and it scares the crap out of me to say this) I agree with Slick Willy. We do look like idiots. We are letting radical Islam work to gain ground in the US through groups like CAIR and the ACLU. Once again he shows the Clinton ignorance by stating they were all Saudis but who’s counting?

Les in NC on January 31, 2008 at 4:55 PM

As contemptible as I find Slick, gotta give him props.

JammieWearingFool on January 31, 2008 at 4:55 PM

Well the truth is that some in the anti war and truther movement see Bill as much a warciminal and enemy as Bush.

So it really is self defense on Bill’s part.

William Amos on January 31, 2008 at 4:56 PM

I’d nod in agreement, but I don’t want my head-bobbing to be misconstrued.

very true, most are on the fringes though that include Clinton in this. Either the Nader/LaRouche Green party nuts or the Lew Rockwell/Ron Paul paleo’s.

Man’s got cajones, can’t deny that.

And you know this how? Besides, does it really matter? A terrorist is a terrorist.

Good for him. I wish more politicians would be so forceful in these truther smack downs.

Eww!

Actually, an awesome headline that I wish we’d get to read is something along the lines of “Billy Jeff hits Truther moron on the head with brick”. Now that’s a feel-good story.

And obviously I misquoted the headline in my first post. Got in too much of a hurry there.

CLINTON: Inside job? Please. I know a thing or two about inside jobs. If this had been an inside job you’d have been found long ago in Fort Marcy Park clutching a suicide note confessing you made the whole thing up.

see-dubya on January 31, 2008 at 5:06 PM

It’s moments like these that I can empathize with the left’s constant apologia for Bill Clinton – when you think he’s on your side, you want to root for him, and see him stick it to any sleazy bastard that talks smack like this.

Enrique on January 31, 2008 at 5:18 PM

Not surprising, he’s been dying to unload on someone, and it would be a disaster for their campaign for him to take it out on the one person who’s really got him steamed. (no, not his wife!)

speaking of truthers, the “Ron Paul Book bomb” debuts:

the book coming out in April 30th: The Revolution: A Manifesto

Go Bill. Glad I can like you for something.

Republicans, are you paying attention? This is how you deal with these people.

Is it me or does it seem like the crowd isn’t exactly with him on this?

Infidoll on January 31, 2008 at 5:26 PM

Good for Bill. Will we ever see Hilary take on the nuts like this? Will BHO have enough balls to hit back at the Truthers when they inevitably disrupt one of his events? I’m guessing the answers are Maybe and No.

C’mon people…Clinton is IN ON IT!!!! hello??? theres been a Bushhitler or a Clintonhitler in the WH for 28 years straight now!!! C’mon!!! Ever wonder why you never see Hillary and Barbara Bush together??? Huh???? Wake Up People!!!!

they KNOW where the aliens are. they KNOW where Hitler is hiding. they KNOW ALL about 9/11…which they cooked up in Texas, just like the Senator from Chappaquiddick says.

They KNOW about the link between Gonads and Strife, but they wont TELL anyone about it!!

Sincerely,

Dylan Avery

Mike D. on January 31, 2008 at 5:35 PM

Sorry, no kudo’s from me. He’s still a rat bastard!

This was a Sistah Soljah moment for him. He saw the opportunity for separation from them and took it, otherwise, why didn’t he do this months ago when it was directed at Bush?

He should have shown as much umbrage at real terrorism during his term.

Can you say USS Cole and Khobar Towers to name a couple acts where he tried blaming the military?

Is he the only one who’s willing to confront them like this? Seriously, at least Bubba has his head on straight and he knows how to nail a tin foil target.

Sick’em Bubba

Drtuddle on January 31, 2008 at 5:59 PM

Excellent take down! I agree with Bill Clinton. Dude. I have to go wash the hands that had to type that.

This is one area where all of us should agree on both sides of the aisle.

TX Mom on January 31, 2008 at 6:13 PM

No difference between these twoofers asking questions about 911 than there is Michael Moore and the hundreds of millions of people who saw F911. If anything those who believe Moore’s bs (see also Academy Award) are worse since they PAID just to hear the questions. ‘Course, it’s clearly not PC on the moonbat side anymore-not since Bill Maher got tired of being asked questions about 911.

Ultimately, we all know what this is. It’s denial. These people-including those leftist lemmings that follow Michael Moore with wide eyes and giddy smiles-these people don’t want answers to their questions. The answers are out there. They’ve been in independent bi-partisan investigations, in Popular Mechanics, all over the web, in multiple movies countering F911, multiple real documentaries about the day’s attacks, and of course, the answers have been presented (ie questions debunked) on The History Channel, Discovery Channel etc. Through all that, Rosie and her fellow lemmings still have questions. How can fire melt steel? What brought down bld7? Where’s the Pentagon and Flt93 wreckage? Why did the Bin Ladens get to leave? and so on. All have been answered, it’s just that they don’t like the answers.

Actually, his point is really solid to those Troofers. THEY ARE STILL TRYING TO KILL US. Get it Troofers? If we were trying to bomb ourselves we would still be at it!

Makes me wonder if Shrillery does in fact win (I don’t think she will) that she will continue the fight.

docob on January 31, 2008 at 10:27 PM

Yep, on occasion, Bill does say something agreeable.

I certainly agree with his “we look like idiots” statement, particularly when he says it, and it’s referring to his administration on the subject of dealing with jihadists…

Wind Rider on January 31, 2008 at 10:29 PM

Is that Moanica Lewdinski sitting behind Cigarman? Looks as if she has put on a bit of weight.

DannoJyd on January 31, 2008 at 11:38 PM

“We look like idiots when…”

… we try to defend oral sex in the Oval Office.

… we talk about the VRWC.

… we use racist attacks against one of our own.

… we open our mouths and spout nonsensical talking points.

… we offer to slow down the economy during a supposed recession.

DannoJyd on January 31, 2008 at 11:44 PM

I wonder if he’s grief stricken over his overall non-action whilst AQ became emboldened from his non-action?

Black Adam on February 1, 2008 at 1:22 AM

Enough with the “props for Clinton” drivel! IT IS A PLANT & THE ONLY WAY CLINTON CAN GET GOOD PRESS THESE DAYS. Does anyone think he would hush the crowd for an UNKNOWN question shouted from the back of the room? How welcoming would he have been if someone shouted, “Why didn’t you insist on paying to have Monica Lewinsky’s blue dress cleaned?” or “Why did you sell our national security to the Chinese back in the 90′s?”

HOW MANY OTHER SPONTANEOUSLY SHOUTED QUESTIONS HAS HE EVER ANSWERED?

And how many more times can he do this tired parlor trick & still get the audience to applaud buy it?

NightmareOnKStreet on February 1, 2008 at 1:24 AM

The only reason Clinton smacked down this “9/11 was an inside job” heckler was that if 9/11 was an inside job, then Clinton was the unltimate insider when that little job was being planned. He’s only attempting to protect his ‘legacy’, whatever the hell that is. Besides, he’s comletely confused: He wants out of Iraq, yet says terrorists are trying to kill us the world over. Give that man a course in logic.

RickZ on February 1, 2008 at 3:30 AM

I give him no credit. HE let OBL go at least three times. HE gutted our overseas intelligence. And HE made our military look weak and foolish with stuff like having our troops turn back because a few idiots in Haiti were waving pistols at them.

His eight years of self serving legacy chasing caused 9 11. What really gets me is that he probably does not have one ounce of shame for what he caused. He probably blames Ken Star.

Mr. Excitement on February 1, 2008 at 12:39 PM

Ruben slayed me, but seriously folks, when it comes to the Clintons, I hafta keep the bucket handy for those times when my stomach has to unload because because, when the stench of smugly sleaze, (HillyBilly) enters my consciousness, I need protection I can count on.

Altho BC made me smile a time or two I still couldn’t swallow any of it, especially the: “Hillary wants to end the war too” crapola. Of course Billy: we all want to end the war, but it’s not up to us, is it? If we leave now, the war will escalate. One thing for sure–you’d feel their pain, from the White House.

Has SNL done a skit on the Clintons’ return to Our House or will they leave it to Hollyweird to do that horror flick?
I better go take my ‘after Billy’ shower now, I feel slimed.
