Let’s assume for a moment that McCain gets the nomination (and it is looking that way) I’m curious to what many of you will do? Will you start to look at all the things McCain has done right? – rightwingsparkle

Doubtful. I mean, yes; he has done some things right.

That doesn’t mean he gets any reprieve for CFR, for suing to shut down political speech on the internet, for shamnesty, for the gang of 14, for Keating 5, for Global Warming support, for wanting to close Gitmo, or for opposing tax cuts.

He has been right on occasion, but he’s been wrong a lot; and in some cases egregiously wrong.

All he needs is a few different FEC commissioners and he can apply CFR rules to Blogs and e-mail. Giving him the power to actually push that through, allowing and encouraging a man who has no respect for the first amendment?

He’s going to have to have a lot more “things done right” than I’ve ever heard of to make that palatable.

She is a marketing genius – I will give her that. In the genre of the Conservative Madonna, she realizes there are true believers out there ready, willing and able to acknowledge their marching orders and do as they are told.

I find it astonishing that a spoiled rich kid from Connecticut named Anne Coulter, who was taking horseback riding lessons when John McCain was being tortured in a communist prison cell, should question John McCain’s patriotism. Anne Coulter grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth. On the day that John McCain was shot out of the sky by Soviet SAM missiles, Anne Coulter was probably in her jodhpurs and riding clothes at the countryclub in Connecticut. What was the biggest danger Anne Coulter ever faced? Getting stuck by a wayward pin at her debutante ball? Anne Coulter could have entered the US military if she so chose. But like other spoiled rich kids from fancy private schoools in Connecticut, Anne would not have fared well in the military. Anne Coulter is a character right out of Private Benjamin. If Anne spent one day in the military, she would gone crying straight to her mom and complained that they don’t have servants bringing her meals. Ann likes to pose with firearms. She has never used one but likes to pose as a streetwise toughie. Hey Anne, I heard it was awfully dangerous wandering the streets of Wilton, Connecticut when you were young.

John McCain has a history he can be proud of, but it’s not exactly recent history. In recent history, McCain undermined the actual President as he tried to prosecute the war on terror and protect the country. When the Democrats pulled out all the stops to keep the president from interrogating known terrorists, John McCain helped give them political cover. In the distant past, he was a patriotic hero. In recent history, he’s been a disloyal RINO who puts his political ambitions ahead of the good of his country.

If he does become president, I guarantee he won’t be happy if any Republican senators undermine him like he did President Bush.

My thoughts on the matter are that at least Billary is honest in her lies [note the *D* after her name] while Juan McLiberal lies through his teeth. Consevative my aching arse, and if it takes voting for the other party to send the “Frack Off!” message to the GOP then so be it.

If you have ever wondered why they call the GOP “the stupid party,” this video of Ann Coulter denouncing John McCain pretty well sums it up:

McCain is not without flaws, of course, but on his worst day he would be better than Hillary on…

Coulter’s antics just go to show that the adage “when you lie down with dogs you get up with fleas” proves true once again.

4). The only reason Republicans will get themselves to the polls is to defeat the oppositions candidate. They are not FOR McCain. That senario loses every time

6). Democrats at this point are almost entirely anti war. They have absolutely no reason to reject one of their own in exchange for McCain.

McCain surrendered to the Vietnamese after the war ended, when he rushed the hearings to declare all MIA accounted for and hopped a jet to Vietnam to cut the ribbon on the sweatshops. McCain is reviled by many who loved their missing brothers

Liberals are a bit harder to sell to, they are immersed in self doubt and low self esteem which creates an element of mistrust. You know how they love to believe all the conspiracy theories, etc. They always think someone is out to stoop’em somehow, somewhy.

Conservatives on the other hand tend to be more trust-worthy and grounded and take people at their word, (President Bush) which is sometimes not a good thing.

No I am not. If you have been around here for a while you would know I started out supporting Huckabee, then I moved to Fred. Now I am at a loss, not sure what I will do.

But under no circumstance am I a Ronulin, which I was accused of being. No real Jews are supporting Ron Paul, that’s be clarified, verified and put to bed.
