Video: Obamalot!

posted at 8:06 pm on January 29, 2008 by Bryan

Well, it didn’t take long for the Obama camp to capitalize on the Kennedy dynasty’s endorsement of “change.” It’s a mantra they obviously don’t believe or they would exit politics, stage left.

They’re still here?

Then they don’t believe what they’re saying.

So here’s the ad.

Would Obama be like JFK? Ramesh, take it away!

So, Obama like JFK?

That mean he’ll make his Islamic Kenyan brother AG?

Wind Rider on January 29, 2008 at 8:07 PM

Ouch, Ramesh just BURNED Caroline Kennedy.

BKennedy on January 29, 2008 at 8:10 PM

I always liked Caroline.

Zorro on January 29, 2008 at 8:11 PM

Yeah, ok, Ramesh’s line is better.

Barry: give us the “Iranian Missile Crises” for old time sake.

mred on January 29, 2008 at 8:14 PM

The Jews had circumcision to mark their covenant.
The Christians have baptism(at least with reformed covenant theology).
What sign do the Kennedy’s make on Obama to graft him into their tree of dynasty?

ninjapirate on January 29, 2008 at 8:18 PM

She’s very pretty, but so is KP. Forbidden fruit.

ninjapirate on January 29, 2008 at 8:18 PM

Force him to take a drive on Martha’s Vineyard with Uncle Ted. That sufficiently generates enough fear in the Kennedy’s to keep their pawns in line.

BKennedy on January 29, 2008 at 8:33 PM

It’s like Spamalot with no shrubberies and more Sir Robins. I can hear His Majesty Obama now, “Run away. Run away.”

mred on January 29, 2008 at 8:14 PM

LOL!

Given his desire for more diplomacy with Iran when the Europeans have been trying and failing on that for years then we might just have another crisis (if we’re not there already). Unless Bush does something about it before he leaves office which is unlikely IMO.

Yakko77 on January 29, 2008 at 8:51 PM

Obama will make us one again

Too bad JFK’s brother (pictured w/ big “O”) turned out to be the most divisive partisan ever.

jgapinoy on January 29, 2008 at 8:54 PM

So this makes Camelot 4,no!
-The original Camelot,great story.5 *stars
-the 2nd was an attempt,maybe 3*stars.
-the third was a rip off, needed a lot of spam,-*neg.0 stars
-the fourth attempt is a ongoing piece of work, the jury is
still out!

canopfor on January 29, 2008 at 8:55 PM

All these people chant: “Change!!!” ; “Hope!” “A Better Way!”

But there is ABSOLUTELY NO SUBSTANCE to their campaigns. The only thing that they can come up with for a plan is: “Surrender to islam” and ” ‘Free’ medical care for all!.” ; Tax the rich to death!.

And their juvenile supporters are too stupid to ask; “Change TO WHAT?”; “Hope for what?” ; “Just what is that ‘better way’ you speak of? “.

While there was more style than substance to JFK, he at least had SOME substance. He is probably rolling over in his grave right now, wondering how his daughter could not have learned something about reality.

Obama may have some sort of style but he has no SUBSTANCE at all. All the remaining Kennedys are as liberal as it is possible to get; one should expect that…. but it is a shame that the one time Caroline says anything she proves herself to be just as vapid as Uncle Ted.

LegendHasIt on January 29, 2008 at 8:55 PM

Obama better keep his wife away from Teddy.

jgapinoy on January 29, 2008 at 8:55 PM

The Kennedy Camelot was nothing but fantasy. Creating another political fantasy will only lead people more astray than the one in the 60s did.

Another hollow, blowhard who never held a job in her life gives her vote to the Islamo-Manchurian candidate.

Obama is a comma; Hillary is the period.

He is Came-lite.

Not lot.

Noi you got it wrong the Kennedys had Camelot the clintons had cumalot

William Amos on January 29, 2008 at 9:45 PM

Hillary better counter punch with a 5 star endorsement of her own:

“It’s time we elect a president that doesn’t make me want to PLOTZ! I’m Joy Behar and I approve this message.”

Chuck Schick on January 29, 2008 at 9:56 PM

Iranian missile crisis and a Bay of Pigs in Pakistan.

The Kennedy family is a blood engorged tick stuck deep in America’s hide. They will welcome a fellow empty suit.

madame_bluetooth on January 29, 2008 at 10:58 PM

That Caroline likes the Big O is one thing; what Teddy did to Hill is unforgivable.

T J Green on January 29, 2008 at 11:06 PM

In keeping with the Monty Python theme….

Obama is the black night.

His policies will damage this country and he will say it’s just a flesh wound.

Kinda like Jimmy Carter when he thought the best way to inspire people was by creating a “misery index”.

DUDE

F15Mech on January 29, 2008 at 11:07 PM

Just remember, Caroline, Obama doesn’t have Marilyn Monroe to kick around anymore.

Shy Guy on January 29, 2008 at 11:46 PM

Those Kennedys should read a little history. It seems to me that GWB’s policies and positions are nearly identical to those of JFK. Of course, Bush isn’t chock full of pain killers and anti-depressants. So he’s considerably more level-headed.

Wingo on January 29, 2008 at 11:56 PM

Such a lovely lady. Too bad her marbles (like Kirsten Powers’) are also stacked on the wrong side of her brain. She seems to choose to not see just how conservative her dad was. Today, there’s no way he’d still be a Democrat. He’d get pummeled just like Zell Miller, for I’d bet he’d be just as appalled as Zell is at the condition of the Democrat party. Yes, Camelot is fading into the sunset.

Islamo-Manchurian candidate.

Jihadis under every bed! I see that the Islamo-facists have been successful with you. They’re selling fear. You’re a loyal customer.

If you were intelligent, you’d worry more about his socialist tendencies.

OUCH! This Democrat civil war is getting better and better. I just wish we had a real candidate who could capitalize on it. *sigh* Unfortunately our current front runner is a Democrat himself.

srhoades on January 30, 2008 at 9:18 AM

With the Kennedy support Camelot lives again. However, remember carefully what occurred during JFK’s short tenure.

My gut reaction is that Obama is viewed as the next JFK but people are not fully listening to his words regarding how he will run the country-as far left as Hitlery.

Wind Rider on January 29, 2008 at 8:13 PM

I enjoyed them both, actually. The element of truth makes the joke, again.

Change, for the SAKE of change, has always been the aspect of liberalism which scares me most. It appeals to the youngest and least experienced and attracts the most deviant among us, as well… The way the left uses it to garner support and get votes is no better than one parent bribing her child to take her side, with gifts and promises of later bedtimes, more sweets, and no curfew etc…, despite knowing that it will spoil the child and ruin her attitude, personality, and future stability. No scruples whatsoever. *sigh*
