Yes, it was from the radio interview. I don’t have any faith that Romney will reduce government spending or reduce my tax burden. The National Taxpayers Union studied his proposals and discovered he’s increase spending by $19.5 billion. He can’t cut taxes and increase spending without killing the value of the dollar, which is more or less a tax increase of its own.

I don’t criticize him to make myself feel better. I criticize him because he still thinks and talks like a liberal. He’s still talking about “looking at” outlawing certain types of guns. He’s still promoting entitlement programs (including the addition of his super-expensive health care subsidy plan). He’s not talking about doing anything about the scourge of the income tax. He’s not talking about how he’s going to get rid of pointless federal spending and departments. He’s insufficiently conservative, and I don’t think that these insufficiencies should be brushed over just because he’s more conservative than McCain.

Once again I disagree. If McNothing gets the nomination, for the first time in my life I will pull the democratic lever, for the POTUS only. I am not disillusioned with our local politics yet.

Just out of curiosity, why woud you do that? I mean, if you don’t want to vote for McCain, why vote for a dem? You could do as I am doing, If McCain gets the nomination, I am not voting for Prez but I am voting for the other Republicans running.

Votes for Fred Thompson are currently MORE than the difference between McCain and Romney.

Placing votes for people not in the race is STUPID and may very well be the deciding factor.

I’m not voting for either. The Democrats are going to win it anyways so now is the time for damage control. I’ll vote for the republican candidate for the US Senate and hope that there are enough Republican Senators left to hold off outright Socialism until the next Presidential. But I will not vote for any of the remaining candidates for president- of either party. I will not be a party to the destruction of the Republic!
