Not an official hearing, just a mock debate between Stewart’s and Colbert’s writers over the writer’s strike with several congressmen in attendance.
The best part? The ripples of knowing laughter from the audience at a fake lunatic mentioning Ron Paul.

Hilarious!
More hilarious: Completing the joke by tasing them both.

Art imitating life? Or just imitating stupidity?

Are you sure those two writers weren’t from Sesame Street and Barney?

Heh. Priceless ridicule of the ridiculous.
Jaibones on January 28, 2008 at 8:55 AM
That, was made of pure 100%, undiluted Win. Not from concentrate even.

This was priceless.
Maybe they should keep this video handy for anytime they have to arrest one of these weirdos who actually do this. They can stick one of these protestering nuts in an interogation room with a monitor and they can play it over and over, explaining that “this is what people are really thinking when you guys do this”. Maybe after a few hundred times of going over it, these idiots would get through their thick, self-absorbed skulls.
Then again, maybe not and it would be a waste big of time.

Looked real to me…about what it really looks like to everyone else.
I didn’t see anyone of color, just sayin…

Pink sweatshirts that say “Look at me”.
The next fad.

It’s disturbing that Bush and his rich cronies are paying people to ridicule and thus try to silence those who are speaking Truth To Power and wake people up to the corporatist union-busting war machine.

Haven’t heard much coming from Code Pinko lately, wonder where they’ve been. Did the Hill Police finally learn their lesson and ban them?

This is the kind of stuff we’ve been missing out on for the past few months. Producers, give them what they want and get them back to work.
Yoosaion on January 28, 2008 at 10:12 AM
The actual T-shirt says;
“LOCK UP ME“

Art imitating life. Joyous.
Kini on January 28, 2008 at 11:21 AM
Well, they’re certainly more photogenic than the average Code Pink protester.
Nugai on January 28, 2008 at 11:51 AM
Absolutely perfect.

What does it say about you when you’re own side of the isle mocks you?
