Slideshow: Hillary shrieks at NJ nursing home rally

This clip is being compared to the 2004 Dean Scream, but it’s not as over-the-top or as revealing as that. It’s not as decisive, either. The Dean Scream made the man look like a maniac, paving the way for John Kerry to ride to the nomination on “electability” even though he’s haughty and looks French.

This clip could be Hillary’s HNL clip, though, because in it she takes her shrillness up to a Hole Nutha Level. Even the NYT grades it pretty high on the noise scale.

That she lets out such bellows in a nursing home…well, the first funerals will hit on Super Duper Tuesday.

The definitive Hillary turn-off is the speech that starts “I am sick and tired…” Obama should be playing that one to his audiences.

sloopy on January 28, 2008 at 6:25 PM

HAHAHA

Theworldisnotenough on January 28, 2008 at 6:25 PM

“Will you HELP ME?!?!?”

Psychiatrists everywhere say “Yes!”

Frozen Tex on January 28, 2008 at 6:26 PM

Eh. Not so bad. I was hoping for worse.

BJ* on January 28, 2008 at 6:26 PM

Will you help me?

a NO!

lan astaslem on January 28, 2008 at 6:26 PM

Her voice really is horrible. I never payed attention to her voice, not even after the many times it had been noted that she had an annoying voice. I heard her speech after South Carolina, it was on in the other room and I had the disconcerting feeling that something was wrong, very wrong. As soon as I changed the channel the feeling went away.

Theworldisnotenough on January 28, 2008 at 6:29 PM

No wonder politicians lose their voices.

Slublog on January 28, 2008 at 6:30 PM

Is she trying to out screech Maria Sharapova?

SouthernGent on January 28, 2008 at 6:30 PM

Clean out the white house? She didn’t really say that. Did she pawn the first haul already?

TexasDan on January 28, 2008 at 6:33 PM

That was the shrill phone conversation
between Hillary and NOW!

The mateing call of the Canadian brown finch!

canopfor on January 28, 2008 at 6:33 PM

“Will you help me?!?”

Feminists everywhere are throwing up…a strong woman doesn’t ask for help!

Poor Hillary is all over the place…if she can’t handle the pressure of fending off a strong candidate, how is she going to deal with Putin’s nuttiness, Fascists-muslims, and Chavez.

Oh right, capitulate.

mksmithwriter on January 28, 2008 at 6:33 PM

“We’ve got to clean out the White House”!

Umm…..didn’t you and Slick try that last time?

They didn’t get all the big furniture…

Frozen Tex on January 28, 2008 at 6:38 PM

“Comprehensive Immigration Reform”

When will someone finally ask her to specifically tell us what the hell that means?

BacaDog on January 28, 2008 at 6:38 PM

How about the unfunded mandate known as EMTALA?

mikeyboss on January 28, 2008 at 6:39 PM

EMTALA?

BacaDog on January 28, 2008 at 6:40 PM

EMTALA is the federal law requiring that hospitals and doctors provide “stabilizing” care (which is subject to interpretation) regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. As a result, ER docs collect about 50% of what we bill, as compared with FP docs like my ex-wifey, who collects 95%.

mikeyboss on January 28, 2008 at 6:43 PM

Could have been worse… I hope there’s video somewhere… Though as I’ve stated a million times, we don’t want her to implode (like she is) just yet… The media will sweep Obama right in to the presidency if he gets the nomination, but Hillary is almost a sure loser for them.

RightWinged on January 28, 2008 at 6:44 PM

When will these people figure out that Bush isn’t running for office this time around?

Vinnie on January 28, 2008 at 6:45 PM

I found what she said much more disturbing than how she said it. I don’t wish to waste one second talking about Hilary’s pitch, after Hilary has just announced her support for amnesty and citizenship for the illegal aliens in this country. Let talk about the substance of what she said.

Is the petty monitoring of a politician’s pitch anyway to conduct a democratic election? I remember Bob Dole drinking ginger root tea for his throat in 1996. Did he deserve to lose that election for talking too much?

thuja on January 28, 2008 at 6:46 PM

thuja on January 28, 2008 at 6:46 PM

Right. She says she wants to “reform government”. How? She says we need “comprehensive immigration reform”. What does that mean?

Specific answers would be preferred.

BacaDog on January 28, 2008 at 6:49 PM

“CHANGE!!!!!”

That’s about all you’re going to get out of ‘em.

Vinnie on January 28, 2008 at 6:50 PM

The more she speaks the better it gets.

Rode Werk on January 28, 2008 at 6:54 PM

Did she says “this is an exciting erection?”

MsUnderestimated on January 28, 2008 at 6:54 PM

“Bring your brooms…” What? Is yours in the shop?

(Sorry, but SOMEBODY had to)

My brain tells me Hill is a centrist compared to Obama, that I should root for her blah blah blah. But dang it, I really don’t like her, and I kind of like Barry O. I just can’t stand the thought of her in the White House.

RW Wacko on January 28, 2008 at 7:08 PM

6. “Will you help love me?”

Entelechy on January 28, 2008 at 7:08 PM

How dare she say she wants to clean up the WH…

Brit Hume just reported the building manager of the Hillary headquarters withheld their deposit due to:

holes in the walls
stained carpet
rotten food
garbage left behind

They didn’t even have the decency to clean up after themselves.

Domino on January 28, 2008 at 7:09 PM

This is one ugly toad.

With her reputation and ugly nature, her only hope would be to take an Obama or JFK-esque tack — uplifting, uniting, inspiring, as combative oratory doesn’t work for her.

petefrt on January 28, 2008 at 7:11 PM

Is anyone voting for this joke for any other reason then her genitalia?

ROFLMAO

I wonder if Hill and Bill watch the old black and white films of the rallys Goering used to put together.

I can hear Bill telling her, with awe in his voice, “Damn Heeeaaaweee, If we only had an advance team like that”.

BacaDog on January 28, 2008 at 7:18 PM

Clean out the White House? Didn’t she and Billy do that already once before?

Are there any conservative enclaves in Canada? I’m starting to fear that I might need one.

Gartrip on January 28, 2008 at 7:32 PM

“Ein Führer der Führen will!” (A leader who will lead).

I swear, translate that whole abomination of a Nürnberg Rally speech into German, add a bit of an Austrian accent and all that you need are the “Sieg Heil”s at the end.

No, I’m not kidding. I was translating it to myself as the (national) socialist hag ranted on, and it gave me chills. Bad ones.

Misha I on January 28, 2008 at 7:39 PM

So, I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your wheelchairs. I want you to get up right now, grab your walkers and go to the window, open it, and stick your head out and yell,

“I’m as mad as hell,

and I’m not going to take this anymore!!”em>

“Bring your brooms…” What? Is yours in the shop?

MsUnderestimated on January 28, 2008 at 6:57 PM

Hahaha, that was awesome.

Yeah the first person I would pick to fix D.C. is Hillary-the Communist-Clinton.
Blah blah blahh blahhh! Blah blah Blahh blahhh!

Geronimo on January 28, 2008 at 7:50 PM

I know people who will vote for her to get BILL back in the WH. How sad and misguided is THAT?

CrimsonFisted on January 28, 2008 at 7:54 PM

Anyone else notice that hardly anyone is smiling in the slide show pics?

aero on January 28, 2008 at 7:55 PM

Maybe she should go for a ride with Governor Corzine and some of the lead foot state troopers.

Kini on January 28, 2008 at 7:55 PM

No Wonder Billy-Jeff has lost his mind…..

That voice IS WAY MORE WORSE than WATER BOARDING……

She reminds me of when my Aunt who used to vacuum my room at 8 am on saturday morning when I was 17 years old and had been out partying all nite in the mid 1970’s…..

The vacuum cleaner that is…..

awesum on January 28, 2008 at 8:04 PM

She sounds like a female prison guard.

darii on January 28, 2008 at 8:04 PM

Do the Clintons have any other relatives they can run in 2016?

Maybe Bill can appear in 8 years in a handlebar moustache and run as Phil Blinton?

It’d be great if the Democrats could be shackled to these political carnies for the remainder of my lifetime.

Chuck Schick on January 28, 2008 at 8:13 PM

yeah well…. just keep an eye on the ballots.
these guys will pull anything to keep going.

Hening

Wow, you nailed it. Not to invoke Godwin’s Law, but that was absolutely frightening.

EyeSurgeon on January 28, 2008 at 8:35 PM

Right at the one minute mark I could swear I heard her say “and we will add the unfunded mandates of no child left behind…” Doesn’t that mean she’ll force the mandate but leave it up to states or someone else to pay for it? And the sheeple just cheered away as if they didn’t even hear it. Oh, and talking about cleaning up the White House, she’d better be careful in that Oval Office. She just might find some of Billy Jeff’s DNA mixed in with a little ceegar ash hiding in that carpet .

Big John on January 28, 2008 at 9:10 PM

Ha Ha, that’s some good stuff.

kahall on January 28, 2008 at 9:14 PM

I really thought candidate Gore was the weirdest I’d ever see.

He was a different guy every week, it was pretty disturbing.

But this…this is even more bizarre than I could have ever imagined. I think people will be studying what went wrong for years to come.

I think my ears are bleeding…..and blood is shooting out of my eyes.

Livefreeordie on January 28, 2008 at 9:46 PM

Even after 7 years, the White House staff is STILL cleaning up bodily fluids, left on carpet and furniture in the Oval Office and other rooms by her husband! If she really wants to clean up the White House, she keep the hell away from it. This, boys and girls, is what we call ‘irony.’

bluestater on January 28, 2008 at 10:28 PM

Right at the one minute mark I could swear I heard her say “and we will add the unfunded mandates of no child left behind…”

She said, “end the unfunded mandate known as ‘No Child Left Behind’”.

And, since the complaint about the program was that it was “unfunded”, why doesn’t she just pledge to fund it like every other program that comes down the pike?

A) That woman is batshit NUTS, B) even though he’s haughty and looks French.………..LOL

mattyj86 on January 29, 2008 at 1:06 AM

Oh, and talking about cleaning up the White House,

I think that she and her thieving husband did a pretty good job of cleaning out the White House when we threw them out. At least until we forced them to give their stolen goods back.

Trailer trash. You can throw money and status at it all you like, but at the end of the day it’s still trailer trash.

Misha I on January 29, 2008 at 2:02 AM

DrSteve on January 29, 2008 at 9:15 AM

Appalling. I feel like someone just ground on my eardrums with a cheese grater.

Also, I am thoroughly freaked by her definition of “comprehensive immigration reform.”

But really, what an awful voice she has. You know how phone system menus, GPS devices, etc. have those incredibly pleasant female voices that gently guide you through everything? Yeah, this is pretty much the opposite of that.
