Seriously? To me, she’s on the high side of plain. Don’t get me wrong, I can handle plain. But I can’t handle the redefining of terms. It’s a peeve of mine.

He’s going to lose his mind and have a meltdown, and the press’s investment in this loose cannon will pay off handsomely if/when he has eliminated the last non-liberal from the primary.

Even the most ardent anti war vet isnt going to easily call McCain a chickenhawk.

That is one of the few bright spots about a McCain presidency that has occurred to me. I’m real sick of hearing that crap from the Left.

There you have it. Media acceptance as a qualification for President. That’s one of the main reasons I DON’T trust Johnny.

It’ll be a lot easier to defend the war on terror in the media with McCain as president. No small advantage.

I am I the only one to see that Joe Scarborough has totally sold out the left wing so that he can keep his job at MSNBC. This guy was supposedly a “conservative” Republican congressman??

I’m horrified by how Scarborough has sold out. He keeps the “pro-life” positions, but he becomes a coward about America’s survival. If we don’t fight the defensive wars of the future, we as a people aren’t going to get to argue about abortion. Our muslim masters will make those decisions. It doesn’t matter how “pro-life” those muslims are, our committing suicide as a nation and a culture should be a far greater crime for those who have “pro-life” beliefs.

Regarding Obama talking about going into the tribal areas of Pakistan: that’s not exactly what he said. I remember from the first couple of very early debates that at least twice he described the area as, “between Afganistan and Pakistan.” I was stunned by the ignorance of geography involved. I was less surprised that no one called him on it.

That’s nothing. The REALLY idiotic thing is that B. Hussein Obama made his “invade first, ask permission later” threat to Pakistan (a nuclear power and one of a very few countries in that part of the world we can even PRETEND is an ally) within two days of his promising to give full diplomatic immunity to any terrorist leader who asked for it.

But I’m trying to get over my conservative self-pity (and it helps to remind myself that Bush is not a conservative but rather a country club Republican).

As for your conservative self-pity, try reminding yourself of this fact: there is now absolutely no hope whatsoever that the Republican Party will nominate someone more conservative than George Bush this year.

I seriously could see McCain, if he were to be president, taking Lieberman as a running mate and then doing the “unprecedented” change-of-party while a president. He’d be praised to the skies, and in the process, he’d knife what’s left of the conservatives in the back, in a hope to bury them forever.

Wow. How many people are basing their primary votes on the idiotic theory that the liberal media would keep “endorsing” McCain after he won the Republican nomination? Probably a lot.

Limbaugh is right: if McCain wins the nomination, it won’t mean just another lost election; this will be the death of the Republican Party.

The powers behind the political machine manipulated Fred Thompson in order to disillusion conservatives into accepting the machine’s socialism packaged either with greenbacks and good looks preferred by bloggers and talk show listeners or else a military uniform as preferred by television audiences.
