You are right, it’s not my job or my house that these people are after. But at the end of the day, we need a plan and a long term direction. If your plan is to build a fence and our project to treat Mexico like it’s west bank and we are Israel, then I think it’s a crappy long term direction. These people are not going to disappear anytime soon. Unrest or crisis in Mexico will affect us. So yeah, it’s already a disaster, but a ‘fence only solution’ won’t make it better, IMHO, it will only make it worse.
