The decisive blow? Carl Cameron was just on Fox claiming this is a rebuke to Giuliani, who’s lobbied hard for Crist’s endorsement for months. But check this out from InTrade, via ace tipster Patrick Ishmael:

Update: It’s for real.

Crist is supposedly popular across the board in Florida.
Update: The boss reminds us that he’s an amnesty supporter.
Update: Crushing.
Crist did not appear at the dinner — he changed his plans several days ago, sources said — but his presence was certainly felt. Giuliani aides were visibly upset Saturday at the news that the popular Florida governor would be backing McCain.
Giuliani campaign sources said Crist pledged his endorsement to Giuliani in the early fall, when McCain’s campaign appeared dead and Giuliani was leading the state by double digits. But at the time, McCain supporters leaned on Crist to hold back and wait until after the New Hampshire primary. McCain had campaigned for Crist when he was seeking the Republican nomination for governor, and had hoped Crist would return the favor.

Our scumbags are better (and more patriotic) than the other party’s scumbags at least.

Man, can you imagine when McCain addresses the Troops for the first time in person as “The Commander in Chief”. There won’t be a dry eye in the house. It’ll be like a Messiah coming home to his people. Could cut the patriotism with a knife. It’ll make Bush’s airplane landing look like peanuts.

When can we get rid of this troll?

Crist’s old campaign headquarters are now occupied by Rudy. I think most people considered his endorsement of Rudy to be a given.

InTrade is all over the place on this race now.
This morning Mitt leads McCain 53-47. But that’s a far cry from the 70-35 lead he had earlier this week.

This could play out like 00′ gore v bush. Isn’t Florida in two timezones, so whoever is strong in the western tip could come from behind late and steal it. I believe Johhny Mac is doing well there, but not totally sure. Mac gets the benefit or running around the state today and tomorrow with crist, then you have the State of the Union speech tomorrow night. McCain will probably fly up and get free tv coverage in person while Romeny doesn’t have that luxury. I’m looking forward to watching this. Prediction: Mc 32 Romney 28 Huck 13 Giuliani 13 CHOSEN ONE .00067
