I believe what MSNBC is saying is that they had a secondary mic, Mitts mic was not working at the time, so, they had a temp mic near him, the temp mic picked up on the whisper. They may of had someone sitting in the front row trying with the mic. If his mic was working at the time, the temp mic would still be around just in case his mic goes own again.

It took me a second reading but that is what I came away with, otherwise the quote does not make sense.

What they don’t want to admit to the denizens of moonbatica is that their questioners are a bunch of dupes having questions planted in their ears.

I think their statement that Mitt’s mic malfunctioned will be enough to satisfy anybody that might have been swayed and was also likely to vote Republican.

Maybe the whole debate was being lip-synched, after an earlier pre-recording.

I’d love to know what debates are going on among the suits in the conference rooms at MSNBC right now. Why can’t just come out and say what happened?

What are the odds that they’ll wait until after the polls close on Tuesday to come clean, helping their buddy Johnny Mac along?

Actually to believe the statement from MSNBC you’d have to believe that they’re saying it was Romney’s voice and the broadcast was on a delay or an a live to tape situation and the malfunction was that Romney’s mic somehow beat the delay and then fixed itself and got back in sync with the delay.

I watched the replay at midnight and didn’t notice it, but I wasn’t listening too closely. I’d love to know if they scrubbed it from that broadcast.

Even if one were to willfully suspend disbelief and stipulate that Mitt’s mic was malfunctioning it still doesn’t explain who uttered the mysterious whisper, which is like the whole freaking point.

Romney has a Harvard MBA and a Harvard law degree. He’s made hundreds of millions of dollars working in the private sector. Say what you will about his politics, but it’s pretty obvious that the man has some smarts. I seriously doubt he needs anybody’s help answering questions.

I’d be willing to bet that the story that MSNBC gave Raw Story is BS too. That was clearly coming from the audio feed to Russert, not from Romney’s mic.

LOL. The left wing blogs are going nuts with those type of theories. They were all saying there is no way Romney could have answered last nights questions that well without help. They also pointed out that when the question was about economics and the other candidates were scribbling notes about the percentages and numbers that Romney was the only one not writing anything down.

Romney might not have won the nomination yet, but he is the guy the left loves to hate.

I’ve noticed this about Romney as well. He seems unflappable and to know what he’s talking about. I could understand why the left would hate him. But then, they hate everything and everyone.
