McCain is a BS artist. He is under the mistaken impression that leading a political party is like leading a military organization. In the military, he doesn’t have to know anything and the people around him can’t complain even when it’s clear he is clueless. In the real world of politics, it don’t work like that McGrouchy.

McCain doesn’t understand economics so well. He likes nice round numbers. For instance: one million (the number of years he thinks our troops should stay in Iraq, “if necessary.”) Come to think of it… maybe he should just answer every question with “make it a hundred!” Or with his “I’m ready” fists.

As you read, it’s a theory that the WGFM is a scheme to manipulate U.S. markets if the market crashes. The theory goes that they’d use government funds to buy stocks.

Paul’s been interesting about this for a bit, writing about it here.

I didn’t understand the question either, but McCain’s answer showed his ignorance and inability to clarify things. It’s like “I don’t need to know anything, I just going to rely on some “other” smart people to make hard decision. I’m just going to blame them if that’s not going to work.”

Instead he goes with the teen beauty pagent approach. Awesome work from the Paultoons.
