If he wanted to introduce a bill to cut 20% of Federal Spending across the board, why didn’t he do so?
Well, I guess that was because he was too busy putting his name on such MSM-pleasing crap as McCain-Feingold, McCain-Kennedy (entirely written, incidentally, by La Raza and Kennedy’s far-left staff – stupid McCain admitted he didn’t know what was in the bill he vainly put his name on) and the “Gang of 14″ RINO dodge that effectively cut the legs off of Bill Frist, the Majority Leader in the Senate – a political rival, as well as those of the entire Republican Party.

McCain’s constant duplicity and liberal-buttkissing was a major factor in the loss of the Senate in the last election. He ruined the Party’s brand, to be honest.

And then. to top himself, in the vote for the last Shamnesty attempt, Shamnesty II, McCain cowardly ran out of the chamber to vote for some Federal Judge. That way his vote (pro-Shamnesty, of course) would not be cast, thus not affecting his pathetic last run for the Presidency.

To call this POS a lying scumbag would defame all other lying scumbags.

The Bushies and assorted brain-dead RINOs in the RNC better quickly decide if they even want to have a national political party anymore.

I liked the ad, myself. I’m sympathetic to McCain’s claims that he voted against the tax cuts because there were no corresponding spending cuts. This the very thing that messed up the Reagan tax cuts — rampant spending.

I am not sympathetic to his embrace of filthy scum like Ted Kennedy and socialist weenies like Obama.

I am for Romney, now, but I know he will try and slide amnesty in, he has repeated this “we need to make it easy on businesses” line… He seems like a legal open borders kind a guy. Which is only slightly less horrible than McCain. Romney never comments on internal enforcement, ever.

Geez, I don’t know what you are basing this on other than “he seems”. Seriously, Mitt Romney’s website is not that hard to find, it’s mittromney.com. Anyways, here is what he says about immigration.

Given Governor Romney’s record of:

And, given his endorsements from Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Tom Tancredo, I’d say Governor Romney has more credibility on the immigration issue than anyone else in the race.

The Republicans were the original party with interests in protecting the environment. I’m personally for eliminating dependence on foreign oil, clean air and water, nice pretty forests, etc. But I think these goals require tons of nuclear power, drilling ANWR like it’s a schoolgirl in a Hentai flick, mining all of that nice clean coal out of southern Utah, developing better battery technology etc. Then we can tell the Saudi, Iranian, and Venezuelan governments to go forth and multiply.

I don’t think the base is into it, but certain pandering politicians seem to be trying to grab some cross-over votes. *cough* McCain *cough*.

That’s not to say there’s no overlap though. The Republicans were the original party with interests in protecting the environment. That all said, I love that ad. I am not a big Mitt fan, never have been, but the ad is outstanding. If he wins the nomination, I would vote for him.

It was a great ad. I think he should do a lot more of those types of ads. People forget what is said quickly. These kinds of ads bring back the words and video to haunt the flip floppers.
