A debate moderator MUST ask barry the question, “Will you assure the American people that john edwards will Never be the attorney general in a barry administration?”

The only answer that will not eliminate him from ever being pres (unless edwards meets an untimely death) would be, “That weasel will won’t be allowed near Washington if I am President.” Any other answer and he is toast.

Lancer, Edwards failed miserably as the VP candidate before, so I don’t think either Hillary or Barack would go for him as VP even if he has enough delegates to sway the nomination. Of course Obama has zero qualifications to be even considered as POTUS so promising Silky the AG position is a way to be sure one cabinet position is filled by someone as equally unqualified as him.

Look, PrettyBoy doesn’t have the qualifications to be much of anything except a wannabe or an also-ran. However, I do believe that he’d do just about anything to get a foothold, being unemployed and all, so I can see AttyGen Silky. As for being ready for it, however…uh, no.

Well, Bill Clinton had Janet Reno, so if the Dems get into office I wouldn’t be shocked to see John Edwards as AG. Alberto Gonzalez was no great shakes either. Makes me really miss having John Ashcroft as AG.

Why would he settle for AG, if he was in Kingmaker position? I would think he’d insist on VP, as that gives him the better shot at the Oval Office in 4 or 8 years. When was the last time anyone managed to move from AG to the Top Job?

I’m pretty sure that I read somewhere on DU the other day that JE and HRC had a 20 minute chat in his green room after the debate this week.

I expected JE to be hoping for an AG spot rather than a VP slot, but I would have expected it to be in a Clinton Admin. I can’t imagine Obama not appointing an AG of color.
