Don’t get me wrong, no offence taken but I have lived in Alabama all of my life and I have never heard, “you ain’t from around here is ya”, in my life. I would actually be “wherr you frum” or “slow down, yer talkin faster’n I kin listen”. : )

As a native born Texan, Dr. Pepper has always been my soda of choice. Since moving to the outskirts of Sugar Land, it’s got to be Dr. Pepper made with Imperial Sugar pure cane sugar. Now that stuff is goooood.

Mr. Pibb is not really a regional drink. I can buy it at the store, get it in restaurants, and find it at the gas station.

OK, I drink 4-6 cans of DP a day, so that comes out to some 1,800 cans a year (still weigh 150), but I wont drink Mr Pibb. If I was given a years worth of Mr Pibb for free, I would go buy Dr. Pepper.

I was watching the show when this happened. I originally thought there was an actual Fox New Alert; a plane crashed, a train derailed, a terrorist attack. But it was just a really lame joke.

Must not have watched Fox News for a long time.

Fox News seems to start off every block of programming with a News Alert which usually isn’t new news, it’s just re-reporting of the last thing they heard about some old news. I think they use the News Alert sting just a little more often then either the phrase “Fair and Balanced” or “We Report, You Decide” put together.
