I agree only with the first part. I will hold my nose if the stench is too great but I will not eat it

Not even if McCain’s new Hispanic Outreach Director beats me with a hard copy of the Mexican Constitution I will not eat it

Not even if they pelt me with a hundred heads of lettuce I will not eat it

Not even if McCain’s mom says I have to eat it

Not even if Lindsey Graham says it is good for me

Maybe I am misreading this but it seems to me that she is talking about the Party not the base. She thinks the folks to run the Party and the public pundits will have to hold their noses.

As you said, she’s getting up in years and it sounds like she either didn’t hear correctly or just didn’t understand the question.

And tax cuts, to name two other issues.

Besides, given RINO Arbusto’s track record once he had to deliver more than fiery rhetoric and actually go to WORK, I’m not so sure that saying that you backed him is a plus in my book.
