ESPN True Hollywood Story: The (Tom) Brady Bunch
posted at 7:50 pm on January 23, 2008 by Bryan
ESPN tries its hand at humor and parody. Not bad. It starts off a little slow but Drew Bledsoe’s bitter cameo makes it work.
It beats two weeks of maudlin Brett Favre-is-38-is-this-his-last-chance stories.

That was painful.

Not funny?

I’m surprised he didn’t knock up Marsha then dump her for Susan Dey.
lowandslow on January 23, 2008 at 8:12 PM
That’s silly.

That should be Marcia not Marsha and I just looked, Marcia’s 51 years old. How did that happen?
lowandslow on January 23, 2008 at 8:15 PM
Nothing wrong with 51!

C minus.

Slow news day for ESPN to be dredging up this clip from 2002.

It would have been better if they made cousin Oliver to be him.

I’m surprised at the responses. I thought it was funny and well done, actually – and Bledsoe was about 2:20 into it. He did a great job.
As for Favre, the media likes him not only because he is a good story, but a good man as well. If you want to know why we think so, check out any story about Favre and Anna Walentowski, like this one here.
Personally, I think the NFL could use more Brett Favres.

Drew was funny in that. Let’s remember Patriots fans that the team would be gone if it wasn’t for Drew Bledsoe.
The rest of that was pretty lame.
GO PATS!!
Sam the Butcher recently passed away…RIP

Here’s a must-read for today: The inspirational and gut wrenching tale of an Army Lt. Col/former West Point footballer who lost both legs in Iraq and has since been adopted by the G-Men as honorary Co-Captain.
I am no organic fan of the G-Men and before today could not have cared less who wins or loses SB 42, until I read the above-linked story.
Please check it out. If you werent going to be a G-Man for a day before, you will be after.

Now I know why I hate Tom Brady. I always had something for Marsha, and he was the jerk that ruined her nose. Thanks, I feel much better now.

I’d rather have two weeks worth of stories about a quarterback I love and have all the respect in the world for [Favre] then two weeks about a quarterback whom I simply do not like at all [Brady]. Seriously… they’re turning into the Jordan-era Chicago Bulls. Bowl hogs.

I was a “JAN” guy….I always had a soft spot for the confused, troubled girls.

So someone at ESPN sat down and thought that up? WOW
