Who appointed you God of the 1st amendment. You can just read over my comments. Allah’s capable of handling himself. And any blog that is opposed to criticism, when they may very well criticize the very readers that help generate the traffic that keeps the blog alive won’t last very long dude. My comment was made prior to some very similar comments made by Rush on Jan. 22nd, which leaves me feeling in good company. You obviously didn’t read my comment or others and would make assumptions based on that. It’s about let’s make a deal, and ah-huh my guys better than yours nani-nani, playground chatter. Just as Rush said yesterday, let me saying it in a way you might understand, UNLIKE MOST OF THE MODERATE/LIBERALS INFILTRATING A CONSERVATIVE PARTY INSTEAD OF STAYING WITH THEIR LIBERAL PARTY OR CREATING THEIR OWN MODERATE THIRD PARTY, I’M EXPECTED TO WATER DOWN MY BELIEFS TO THE NEW REPUBLICANS. I DON’T SUPPORT A CANDIDATE, I SUPPORT A POLITICAL PHILOSOPHY. I’M NOT UPSET ABOUT FRED NOT GETTING THE NOD, I’M UPSET THAT CONSERVATIVISM IS NOT GETTING THE NOD. THAT MY PARTY HAS BEEN TAKEN OVER A SEEMS LIKE A WATERED DOWN VERSION OF THE DNC. AND THE PEOPLE AROUND HERE CONSTANTLY COMPLAIN ABOUT WHY THE VOTE FOR THOSE CANDIDATES THAT WILL GIVE THEM EXACTLY THAT…. there was that clear enough for you?

What if McCain named Fred as his VP?

But which plan? Some are assuming that Fred was in it not to win, but to get VP. Fred was a spoiler in the last primary, allowing his best bud, McCain, to win

Was this to hold open the convention for his best friend McCain? Then Fred could be VP to placate conservatives

They could play good-cop/bad-cop with the electorate

‘No fire in the belly’ has been put on Fred so many times he would have to be a fool to continue, unless he was intentionally pulling back everytime his ratings went too high, to preserve votes for McCain and siphon votes from the others

It would be hard for me as a conservative to continue a personal love affair with McCain with his manipulations to force in amnesty, his insults to the American worker, and his deals with the left. McCain is a bald Kennedy except for the war on terror, and even there he is disingenuous with his push for open borders

I have put Fred on the back shelf now, unless something shakes my distrust

The smartest thing Romney could do right now is to discuss the VP slot with Fred.

Possibly. Considering the grief Mitt got over having lobbyists advise him, how do you think the media will treat him if he puts a lobbyist on the ticket?

That is more evidence that Fred (Jeri most likely) completely misread the electorate. You have to play the game to get the prise.

That has been a frequent thought for me also. Perhaps even two. Heck, maybe even this year. It isn’t too late for Fred to make a run at a dem seat in Tennessee is it?

One can always hope.

I hope what can be said of Reagan can be said if Fred. He was crazy like a fox. That he ran with a group of RINO’s so when the next election comes around, and provided McCain has left anything of the first amendment in place, conservatives will beat down Fred door to get him to run.

Now, again, why is this guy better than Hillary?

If I played “gotcha” politics, I’d remind the Fredheads of what I have been saying about Fred since his speech at the Lincoln Club.

I did and I’m not.

I knew what I was getting into when I started. Some people have it in there heads that if they donate, that makes them a consultant.

Do I wish he had done things differently? Sure. But it was his run to lose, not mine.

We had an agreement. If he doesn’t tell me how to work a heart attack and I won’t tell him how to run his campaign.
