She is disillusioned in thinking that she can make a difference. Her comments, past and present do not jive.

She says she wants to be seen as a statesman not a politician. Why is she touting she will send ‘Wild Bill’ as her emissary because he’s such a statesman (and he likes cigars as much as Churchill).

She is no different than ‘Wild Bill’. She just wants to get him out of the house so she can polilic (no misspelling) her way around D.C.

Anyone else notice her “husband” managed to make MLK day all about his self (yet again)? Assholes.

This is why I don’t want to hear a single Republican say they would rather stay at home than vote for McCain. Clear?

I could be wrong, but I doubt Margaret Thatcher went around putting self-promotional politically-correct gender politics quotes in the mouths of the dead.

No, they would not vote for him, but then neither would the supporters of Huck or Mitt. There is no correlation between being a good pastor, businessman, family man,etc. to being a good leader…sorry to break the news, but some of the great leaders would not be a poster boy/girl for any of those things.
Those people would not have voted for Thatcher or Golda Meir either.

Thanks for reminding me of those great quotes. He truly was a brilliant man. Can you imagine any of the Republican candidates capable of repartee like that? Fred maybe, but he’ll be lucky to get the VP slot the way things are going.
