Video: Democrats telling Bill Clinton to shut up
posted at 1:07 pm on January 21, 2008 by Bryan
The more Bill Clinton “defends” Hillary Clinton, the weaker she looks as a candidate. The more Clinton lies that Obama has to expose, the more divided the Democrats become. To which I say –
Heh. Keep talkin’, Bubba!

Blowback

Methinks Bubba is too self-absorbed to shut up.

No, shut up, Bill. We need your “wife” to be the Dem’s candidate. The more she runs against Obama, the more Black Voters will stay home on Election Day. The Dems can NOT win without 90 percent of the Black Vote.
Tony737 on January 21, 2008 at 1:16 PM
They need a hot chick to tell him. Then he’ll at least look at her, although I hear tell that he doesn’t pay too much attention when women tell him to stop…
Frozen Tex on January 21, 2008 at 1:17 PM
I remember Rush talking about how impeached Bill Clinton will never shut-up or go away after his term. This is while the stain on the blue dress was still wet. He set the stage of all the ex-presidents before impeached President Clinton, who acted with dignity and kept out of the political scene afterwards. He was bang-on. This is all part of the Democratic party’s identity of self absorbed, elitist, hypocrites, who care much more about themselves than serving this country or making it better.

o_o oooh, bill!
davidk on January 21, 2008 at 1:26 PM
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, either consciously or subconsciously Bill does not want Hillary to win and he is doing everything he can to derail her campaign. He’s too smart to be this stupid.

Or he has early dementia.
Thanks for the link earlier, Bryan. I got -lanched left and right for that one. Still going. :-)

Keep on mouthing-off motor-mouth. Bringing disarray to our favorite party.

I’m with
I’m hoping the fight with Obama splits the black vote off from Shrillary.
Besides, it’d be poetic justice. They’ve been playing racial politics so long it’s about time it bit them in their ass.

What?!? And have her hanging around the house all day? No, all this bluster from him is nothing but ego and Hubris, defined. Wonder if the MSM would consider having an on-staff Psych do a analysis of the video from these stories as they come up. “So, Bill, did your mother wear a special, blue dress?”
dmh0667 on January 21, 2008 at 1:34 PM
I see it a little differently. My take is that he thinks Hil’s election is actually a referendum on him. Her failure would be a reflection on the public’s desire for him. So to be not wanted in public supporting his wife is not only inconceivable, but feeds one of his his lifelong neurotic fears– that he is not wanted, liked or likable.
This is what gets in the way of his pulling back. His desperation is showing.

They need a hot chick to tell him.
I actually think you’re on to something here. We should lure that lying white trash horn dog into a compromising situation that looks entirely safe and then ruin both of them (HillBilly) with the evidence. Is he smart enough to avoid the trap? I doubt it, not if it really looked safe enough, because he wants to get caught again. Dostoevsky would have loved Billy Jeff.

If you vote for Hillary, you’re a racist.
If you vote for Obama, you’re a sexist.
If you vote for John Edwards, you’re both.
Oh, the perils of Dem primaries.

I agree with your analogy. Its all about him.

He shoots… he SCORES!!!!!
Califemme on January 21, 2008 at 1:43 PM
I agree. The truth is, the Hillary campaign is about him, not her. Hillary’s only qualification to be president is that she’s married to Bill Clinton, and everyone knows this. Basically, they’re re-electing Bill Clinton, and they get the historical “first female president” trophy as a bonus. I don’t think Bill’s just imagining it’s all about him… I think it is indeed all about him.

The next week will tell us if even Hillary can get between Clenis and an open mic.

Hey, Bubba, don’t let those fascists trample on your first amendment rights. We on the right will support you though this difficult time. You can count on us.
infidel65 on January 21, 2008 at 2:06 PM
Do we have any doubt as to what Bill Clinton will be doing if Hillary is elected? We all know he will be in charge of entertaining the spouses of visiting heads of states. Just like they will entertain his.
bloggless on January 21, 2008 at 2:10 PM
If Hillary becomes POTUS, after the first domestic squabble on national policy, Bubba will be sleeping with the Secret Service detail, and Hillary files the first (?) divorce papers of a sitting POTUS.
fred5678 on January 21, 2008 at 2:26 PM
No good. He’d chew off his own leg to get out the trap, just like a rat.
pistolero on January 21, 2008 at 2:26 PM
Too bad for him it won’t be his leg that gets caught.
Frozen Tex on January 21, 2008 at 2:29 PM
I had never thought of comparing Hillary to Tracy Flick from the movie Election until I saw a video which I had to post at my blog. It is right on and funny.
WildBillK on January 21, 2008 at 2:31 PM
What is it with ex democratic presidents the rule was always to stay behind the scenes and not speak out. Both Carter and Clinton have been disasterous ex presidents. Throw in Gore and its the trifecta

This is what happens when you become a legend in your own mind.

Well, I gotta say, my Republican Party isn’t looking all that “unified” these days either…
JetBoy on January 21, 2008 at 2:43 PM
It’s all about the bubba.
locomotivebreath1901 on January 21, 2008 at 2:44 PM
The best part of this is that the more they tell Bubba to shut up, the more he won’t. They will have to physically restrain him, drug him or distract him and we all know that the Clinton folk will easily tire of that. He thinks he’s running again so nothing will stop him from that campaign trail, for long.
I’m waiting for the ‘Mars Attacks’ moment when someone asks him a really hard question and his head explodes. So many people think that without Billy, Hilly is nothing. I’m of a mind that they are symbiotic parasites and one cannot truly live without the other–(this is not to be misconstrued as a Potter-Voldemort reference; there’s no good guy involved here).

There is the real axis of evil…he-he-he!
kcd on January 21, 2008 at 3:09 PM
Considering the division in both parties this year it does seem like an ideal time for a third party candidate to run for POTUS.
dawgyear on January 21, 2008 at 3:45 PM
As if any thinking person could believe that Hillary is qualified to be anything but a proxy for Bill….
landlines on January 21, 2008 at 5:10 PM
Bubba removes any doubt whatsoever what a presidency under Hillary would be like. If Bubba couldn’t get 50% of the vote, why would anyone think his proxy can? The mainstream media is pushing McCan’t just in case the sham doesn’t work.
volsense on January 21, 2008 at 5:15 PM
Best way to keep him yacking away is to tell him to shut up.
oakpack on January 21, 2008 at 5:31 PM
Do we really want four to eight more years of fingerwagging?
