Big day for dog-bites-man surveys of institutional bias: First came this morning’s media shocka, now comes the Drudge-featured scoop from the Princetonian. All we need now is the blockbuster poll showing that the entertainment industry skews left and we’ll be set. Memo to Matt via tipster Patrick Ishmael: It’s not that surprising.
Another $1,800 from the staff went to a Republican candidate. Guess which.

Can’t that be deducted as a religious contribution?
Obama is the Messiah, after all…

Stunned. I could probably make a substantial living celling male ponytail equipment at any University.

Just supporting their economic interests.

I am shocked–SHOCKED, I say!
Are there even any Republicans at Princeton, or have they all been driven out?
Vanceone on January 21, 2008 at 6:55 PM
The $1800 went to either McC or Huck.

I grew up 5 minutes south of Princeton. It is, without a doubt, one of the most elitist limousine liberal places in the entire country. It makes the Upper West Side look like a Red State.
Princeton is full of hippie wanna-bes and other idiotic activist types. Think about it: these are people who chose to move INTO New Jersey for their college education. They’re morons.

Johnathon Edwards is ordering some smiting in his grave.

McCain was a good guess, given the academic left’s love of speech codes.

From the article:
I hate to get all unimaginative and factual on you like this professor, but the evidence does not appear to support your assertion.

Prepping for surgery in which he plans to amputate a couple dozen unnecessary limbs. The patient is ready, doctor.

“Welcome to the WNJN Channel 16 News. Our top local story tonight: Princeton profs donate $20,000+ to Democrats. In related New Jersey news, Danny DeVito is short.”

Michael Goldfarb noticed RuPaul’s Princeton doners over at The Weekly Standard blog, noting that that the $1,800 total is split between only two people–two people of seemingly modest means at that.
What kind of person blows a week’s paycheck on a Don Quixote presidential candidate?

I’m shocked.

Closest thing, probably.
That is amongst the faculty. The student body is more conservative, but not by much.

Just remember, folks. Your tax dollars go a long way toward funding the paychecks in those moonbat ivory towers.
