For those of us who don’t like either one of these people, it’s a chance to see them both lose an exchange since neither one comes off as presidential or even particularly likable.

Ya know, I can’t say I don’t actually LIKE Obama – I would never in a million years cast a vote for him, and I don’t agree with his views on, well, anything, but I really think he believes in what he says, and honestly thinks he has our best interest at heart. There is nothing at all likable about either of the Clintons. He’s pushy and a complete liar, and she’s a shrill, dishonest harpy. And both of them have their best interest at heart. Period.

John Edwards is a silly man. He just said that he thinks he can compete against John McCain anywhere in America.

But, he didn’t say what it was he could compete against McCain in, anywhere in the country…maybe shuffleboard, or bocce ball…

I wanna see them hold the next debate in Hillary’s kitchen, with lots of pots and pans within arm’s reach…

Awwww, all that’s gonna result in, is some new Hitlery shill jumping up and down yelling “Cook my Dinner…Cook my Dinner…Cook my Dinner!” instead of “Iron my Shirt!”.

That was also the very FIRST time I’ve ever seen a candidate for president get BOOED…and loudly so.

Somebody said they gave that round to Hitlery. I’m not sure I agree. Yeah, her bringing up the “present vote” was effective at making Obambi look like Fresh Waffles, but her facial expression, her vocal tone, her body language all looked like ultimate bi*chery. Obambi looked about as defensive as I’ve ever seen him but he still did a reasonable job of maintaining his cool and standing his ground, and he simply looked (to me) like he was in far, far greater control of himself and his surroundings. In terms of personal composure and ability to stay cool under fire, personally I think Obambi did the better job by a long shot.

Silky ganging up on Obambi didn’t help but frankly, other than providing comic relief, Silky’s just irrelevant (other than becoming a possible kingmaker) whether he manages to get words in edgewise or not.

Looking forward to their next debate…next Sunday, isn’t it?

Personally, I’m damned tired of hearing people worry more about the race/gender of a candidate than they are about the candidate positions on issues.

I don’t care what color he is, his positions are disturbing.

I get the same vibe. A vibe is a gut reaction, in this case, that what is being said is entirely shallow and worthless, more to handle a moment than to accomplish anything. That is the Nagin difference.

Yep. Right down to the courtroom anger mixed with the friendly slip-up addressing the opponent as ‘Hillary’ which someone above mentioned. Usually lawyers are smart sneaky enough to act like opponents in the court and then go out to drinks after.

Some might take Obama addressing Clinton as ‘Hillary’ as a put-down. It raised my suspicions in the direction of possible pre-arranged Pres/VP ticket.

As the play unfolds, the two ‘enemies’ have to be massaged into acceptance by building up both candidates as mutual Reagan haters with enough differences to spar, but enough Reagan hatred to find their mutual love of big government binds them together. They are broken down by love of nation to put differences aside and draw together their two constituencies: 80% of all blacks (Obama) and old Oprah women and rich greenie socialists (Hillary)

I smell brokering

The most important thing that Obama can do to keep his girls safe is to keep them away from Billy and his ilk/fans.

Imagine the above in the White House for 8 years. Once she got power, you would never get her out.

Machiavelli would be a choir boy in comparison.

All the Dims are lawyers. On the Republican side, Romney has a Harvard law degree and Guiliani is a former prosecutor, but neither McCain nor Huckabee have law degrees.

Gosh, I am just so surprised WOlf didn’t bring any of that up, especially considering Universal Healthcare was just about the ONLY THING THEY TALKED ABOUT.
