Democrats are not trustworthy so why why should they trust each other.....it takes one to know one! What other party wants to restore voting rights to convicted felons.......
Oh, by the way, it was Algore who got us started with the chads and, ultimately, the Supreme Court.

Lemme' go out on a limb here...

The election for governor of the state of Washington, after a count, and then a recount, where the election hinged on two votes for the entire state, was finally decided in favor of the Donk candidate, by a box of ballots, found in a corner, in Pierce county, one of only two counties, that carried the votes for the Donks.

not complainin', y'unnerstan'...it's just that we can't get rid of the stench.

It’s not surprising that they should cry “cheat” whenever their nominee of choice doesn’t pass muster

That the Democrats keep engaging in these low games may the most obvious case of long-term mass psychological projection this country has ever seen.

It's worse than that.

As Huey Long observed decades ago, if Fascism ever comes to America, it'll call itself "anti-Fascism." The combination of demonstrated Democrat cheating to win (e.g., Frank Lautenberg and Tim Johnson in the US Senate, Christine Gregoire in Washington state, massive voter fraud throwing the Wisconsin 2004 presidential election to Kerry) - coupled with constantly insinuating that any election in which they don't win must have been "fixed" - steadily chips away at the faith of the American electorate in their own elections, and consequently in their own Republic.

We're already in a situation where barely half of eligible voters bother to cast their votes, and the other half are becoming increasingly of the belief that their votes don't matter because the results are being jury-rigged. Historically this is the type of fertile ground giving rise to the appearance of the "Man on Horseback" - a demogogue or faux-populist (often with a militaristic and totalitarian ideological movement behind him) who claims that the whole system is corrupt and should be thrown out, and that he and his acolytes can be counted on to "clean things up" and "restore honor and dignity" to government.

This is at least in part how the Hellenistic civilizations threw away their own representative governments for dictators and emperors, and how tyrants from Oliver Cromwell and Napoleon Bonaparte to Hideki Tojo and Hugo Chavez have hoodwinked entire populations into casting their lot with oligarchies.

Democrats, of course, believe that they are the ones who should benefit from any collapse of confidence in our electoral system - as well as the corruption of the system itself - and they work relentlessly to bring about that collapse, because they think that it'll leave them on top.

In the short term, they may be right. But in the long term they are paving the way for a road to Hell in which not only the Republicans but they themselves and our freedom as well will be in the express lane.

I agree with Ali-Bubba. (never thought I'd type those particular words)

But seriously, the Dems have been cheating at elections since their infancy. It's not surprising that they should cry "cheat" whenever their nominee of choice doesn't pass muster. It couldn't be because they are the candidate that received the most votes. It must be because the other side cheated more effectively than their side did.

Democrats have been stealing elections for two centuries. To suppose that one Democrat would never steal an election from another Democrat is to suppose that there is honor among thieves.

This is like “bizarro” election year…I really don’t understand whats going on, on either side.

These are the end times.

It's like when you find out that your dog is terminally ill, so you bring him home for a few days before you let the vet put him down.

We will all be "put down" in short order.

The coronation is...

Back on.

It is ridiculous to propagate anything from comment's without some substantial checking of facts. Even the MSM needs to be checked viz Dan Rather.

The democrats have cried foul too many times and the fowl is turning into wolf.

That the Democrats keep engaging in these low games may the most obvious case of long-term mass psychological projection this country has ever seen.

Here’s some links. I know there is alot to all both sides. My point was that this thread says “We never hear anything like this on the Republican side.”

all of your links are to stories of alleged Republican misdoings which is exactly what the Dems claim every time. You've proven nothing.

Also, the thread is actually called ' Predictable: Democrats lose, Democrats claim shenanigans'

If you had many stories of Republicans claiming Democrats were tossing their votes, then you'd be onto something.

If anyone would know about fraud and cheating, it would be the Democrats.

DAT60A3 on January 19, 2008 at 10:23 PM

Please, sir! Mayor Daley (a Dem) has run Chicago without a whiff of voter corruption for YEARS (along with his father and numerous other Dems).
No if you'll excuse me, I need to find Gepetto as it seems my nose has grown again.

Seriously, why can't they just come out and say what everyone knows "people don't like whiners, and we've become serial whiners and will lose more often than not the more our party platform is to take the ball and go home anytime things don't go our way"

Yes, I too find it odd that voter supression tends to turn out only in Democrat controlled areas with Democratic representatives and registered Democrats running the polls.

Funny, that. Google it.
