May I suggest though, that you start invading China. That’s where all the jobs are now.

Maybe on the way back they can take some of this with them.

AZ_Mike, that is exactly how it is. Where do you live down there, I used to live in SV and have many friends that own land south of town, including some ranchers. Those pictures truly are what it looks like but the enviro-wackos don’t take that into consideration.

Did any Americans realize free trade would include exporting workers?

The net result of free trade between Mexico and the US:

1. Wealthy businessese in the US made a lot of money selling consumer goods to Mexico

2. Wealthy businesses in the US made an ungodly volcano of profit by replacing American citizen workers with illegal Mexican workers for service jobs, and to manufacture goods to sell to the world

3. The American worker, many displaced by illegals, retained his legal and tax obligations as a citizen while being required to shoulder the legal and tax obligations of the illegal workers

4. In the final battle to preserve the system politicians are attempting to give votes to the imported workers

The lower middle class American household has gone from households where both parents worked to households where many parents work two jobs. I have witnessed workers in $8 an hour jobs rush to their second job, the one that buys food

They have tried to brainwash us to think we cannot run our nation by law.

As far as leaving a spouse and house full of kids for the taxpayer to support here, have to agree with drjohn it does speak volumnes about character and the much abused “family values” our elected critters keep throwing out.

He said the Arizona law will lead to “disintegration of the family,” as one “legal” Mexican parent remains in Arizona and the other returns to Mexico.

Whose fault is this? Who was the freaking genius who fails to think the problem through?

And mostly- why does this have to become OUR problem?

It’s NOT our problem. It’s THEIR problem.

If they want to live with split families, then let them! But in doing so it would speak volumes about the kind of people we’re speaking about.

One would think that Mexico would give capitalism a better try. What an opportunity for businesses to take advantage of the influx of Mexican workers. As long as those businesses aren’t in fear of being nationalized by Mexico, it’d be great for them.

Soon they won’t be able to say this! Heh.
