Video: Where’s John?

In distant, largely irrelevant third place and without a primary win anywhere, that’s where. But the Breck girl had a few bucks to spend so he made a whiny ad.
Edwards is lucky he isn’t attracting any coverage. If he did, someone besides me is bound to dig into his phone call to Musharraf.

Ha ha ha! Cry, Edwards, cry! Is this how you want to run our nation?
Tzetzes on January 18, 2008 at 9:55 PM
Some political hack here in Raleigh said Edwards should stay in and win 15% of the delegates so when Shrillary and Barry have a brokered convention he “can be in a nice position”. Wishful thinking much?
SouthernGent on January 18, 2008 at 9:56 PM
That’s one pony with a hell-of-a-nerve using (positive) footage from a propaganda Karl Rove-run network like “FauxNews” there at the end.
Marcus on January 18, 2008 at 10:00 PM
the three of these clowns don’t have the experience of either biden or dodd or even kerry, none of whom i like in the least, but all of whom have at least a shred of valuable and lenghty experience on the national stage.
if you put barack and hillary and silky together you still don’t come up with person that can be trusted as potus.
the dems have never ever been so pathetic. mcgovern and carter were better than these three turkeys.
as a registered dem since 1974 it makes me puke.
mccain and lieberman make fine dems. mccain and lieberman – two LIBS – are at least trust-able with national security and the defense of the free world.
barack, hillary and silky cannot be.
you know, i wouldn’t even hire hillary or edwards or barack – each a lawyer – represent me in ANY case, let alone defend the constitution and USA.
i wonder what ZELL MILLER is thinking….

pullingmyhairout on January 18, 2008 at 10:02 PM
Yeah cuz Hannity WANTS it to be between Rodham and Hussein cuz Edwards is so formidable.
Buddahpundit on January 18, 2008 at 10:04 PM
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. Pandering to the South.

Um…I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure Southerns really resent the way that Deliverance portrays Southerners as inbred, hillbilly, sodomites. But what do I know.
Nessuno on January 18, 2008 at 10:14 PM
Would President Edwards do to America what those backwoods hillbillies did to Ned Beatty?
kiltedscotsman5 on January 18, 2008 at 10:15 PM
Once again….how much is Hillary paying Silky (or Mrs. Silky) to stay in the race and suck votes from Obama?

Every time I see him talk I lose respect for liberals…which is to say that I now have a deficit of respect for them. They owe me.
blankminde on January 18, 2008 at 10:54 PM
Clever ad. Questioning the media narrative with out whining about it. Clever, which was unexpected from the E camp.
Spirit of 1776 on January 18, 2008 at 10:55 PM
I have to admit after watching that ad I did ask “wheres the john I have to go ?”
William Amos on January 18, 2008 at 10:59 PM
I thought that movie was set in Georgia. Inbred hillbillies, killer rabbits and Jimmie Carter. That a real advertisement for tourism.

Perhaps if Edwards had a lucky Muslim in his entourage, it would be a three way tie.
BL@KBIRD on January 18, 2008 at 11:24 PM
I agree. It’s too bad this ad ruined it for me.
pullingmyhairout on January 18, 2008 at 11:31 PM
Sienfeld had this bunch pegged with

I was just thinking today “do you think people remember he would talk to dead people to win court cases?”
probably good hes not being talked about
CaptainObvious on January 19, 2008 at 12:05 AM
Dead man walking! And this time he won’t even get second billing on bumper stickers for the final round.

Where’s John?
Well I thought I’ve heard an ambulance drive buy a few minutes ago if that’s any help.
CrazyFool on January 19, 2008 at 1:40 AM
Isn’t it poor salesmanship to highlight your opponents in such a fashion?
Weird, John.
thegreatbeast on January 19, 2008 at 2:57 AM
i think (am not positive, but pretty sure) that if you go back and watch, you will see that he did, in fact, say he talked to musharraf. what he clarified to the question was that he did not call musharraf, but the ambassador, and that musharaff then called him. again, not positive, but that was my recollection of the debate and i thought that the first time you brought it up too. if i am wrong, just a clueless commentator, but if you are wrong, you should check so that you don’t keep posting about it. just a thought.
truecon on January 19, 2008 at 3:08 AM
Uh…yeah…so, what about Edwards? Third place…so, doesn’t that make him second loser to whoever comes in first????
uncivilized on January 19, 2008 at 7:01 AM
Edwards is obviously that banjo-pickin’ kid from the movie “Deliverance”….
All growed’ up……….

Bryan, if more people were paying attention…they’d go back, read the transcript of the last two dem debates, and see that when dealing with Pakistan the Democratic candidates detailed positions that are in effect the Bush Doctrine. Funny, I don’t see a lot of msm reporting that contradiction.
-Hillary Clinton NH debate on ABC
check out the last two transcripts re Pakistan. It’s amazing. Dems rail against Bush doctrine, then embrace it in the very next paragraph.
scottm on January 19, 2008 at 8:46 AM
He shir has a purrrdy mouth.
After watching that ad, all I could think of was Hillary and Obama. It’s rare to see a campaign ad with endless video captures of one’s opponents and only one or two of the candidate paying for the ad.
And what’s with that background music? It’s like saying here’s a message from Goober, your hillbilly candidate.
Background music for Silky’s next campaign ad ……

John is a very famous man, after all they named a room after him.
Wade on January 19, 2008 at 9:58 AM
Doesn’t Edwards refuse to go on Fox News these days? Nice to see hypocrisy is running full tilt in the Breck girl’s campaign.

Where’s John?
Trying out for a role in the new Scooby-Doo cartoon?

Count your blessings folks, at least we weren’t subjected to Edwards’ whiney voice. It’s the small things in live to be thankful for.

the end was hilarious!
