Video: The Internet’s throwing a party and you’re all invited

An unfortunate gratuitous smutty twist at the very end here means I’m obliged to give you your official strong content warning. There’s a smattering of garlicky language throughout too, so if you don’t have the appetite, please move along. Nothing to see here.

Pretty good otherwise, though. Click the image to watch.

I can think of a few spots they missed, but a pretty good effort.

What…..no HA humping robot?

Limerick on January 17, 2008 at 6:08 PM

Not bad at all. I liked the “just say anything, I doesn’t matter to her” in reference to Wiki. Though I have to wonder about PayPal’s outfit…

Wineaholic on January 17, 2008 at 6:09 PM

Great stuff. If you liked that, you might want to check out the videos for “Cracked.com watches porn”. From the same people, and even better. And besides some very colorful language, nothing racy.

madne0 on January 17, 2008 at 6:10 PM

Hilarious.

brak on January 17, 2008 at 6:16 PM

Huh, blumpkin. A term I never heard of for an act I never even considered doing.

Thank god for the Internet.

kiltedscotsman5 on January 17, 2008 at 6:18 PM

Hysterical. :D

PolitiNOOB on January 17, 2008 at 6:30 PM

they should have hammered on digg a bit more

treyevans on January 17, 2008 at 6:37 PM

Eh, the simple “Go on…” from Digg was perfect.

Mazztek on January 17, 2008 at 6:41 PM

A couple of good lines but it needs some work.

The Internet’s throwing a party and you’re all invited

WooHoo! First time I’ve been invited to a party since I was Person of the Year.

RedWinged Blackbird on January 17, 2008 at 6:49 PM

Some missing characters:

Technorati, passed out and unresponsive.

Flickr, getting a massage and pestering you about adding your photos to some pointless photo pool.

Boing Boing, boring you 90% of the time with boring artsy crap and patronizing far-left commentary. Potential line: “Some German dude is making awesome art by swallowing dye and then staining sidewalks with his colorful urine. OMG Bush is Hitler!”

Mark Jaquith on January 17, 2008 at 6:53 PM

I figured Kos would be there handing out fliers to anyone with a pulse.

Somebody has a secret man-crush on Kevin Rose it seems.

Neo on January 17, 2008 at 7:26 PM

One of those with HotAir, LGF, Ace, Freepers, etc. would be pretty funny too.

This isn’t AP is it? http://www.uncov.com/assets/2008/1/17/how-do-i-install-wordpress.jpg

pedestrian on January 17, 2008 at 7:29 PM

Effing brilliant. I agree – someone (HA?) has GOT to do a blog one of these.

rick moran on January 17, 2008 at 7:31 PM

I think Snopes is kinda hot…..

JohnTant on January 17, 2008 at 7:38 PM

Wow, am I the only one who uses ALL of those sites on an almost daily basis (meaning most days I use all but one or two, but even those I use a couple times a week). Hell, even at the end when the dude goes “that’s a blumpkin, yo”, I missed his name tag. I opened a new tab in Firefox and was going to urbandictionary.com to see if I knew what a blumpkin was… and upon rewinding the video a bit, that was who that freakin’ dude was! Urbandictionary! Lol, crazy.

RightWinged on January 17, 2008 at 8:03 PM

All that and the gratuitous Lewinsly at the end.
The internet is all porn.

What’s with the content warning? Are there any children reading?

Baphomet on January 17, 2008 at 8:25 PM

I loved Ask Jeeves! Then again, I have a thing for older British gentlemen.

madame_bluetooth on January 17, 2008 at 8:32 PM

Where was the HotAir character?

ThackerAgency on January 17, 2008 at 8:35 PM

What’s with the content warning? Are there any children reading?

Probably not children, but Mike Huckabee’s staffers who are the target of the warning. ;-)

Or just for people who might be around other people (work, Internet cafe) who don’t want to unwittingly f-bomb everyone in the vicinity.

And those of us at work. Which also means I can’t watch it now.

- The Cat

P.S. Don’t invite O’Reilly

MirCat on January 17, 2008 at 8:51 PM
