Have the English every seen how the Taliban play polo on camels?

They gallivant across the desert hitting the head of a pig with their rifle butts.

Their version of football is to carry a slaughtered sheep around like a football trying to get it across the goal line (the door of their hut) without becoming decapitated by the other players wielding scimitars trying to cause the owner to fumble the ball (sheep) so they can steal it for themselves.

Now that sounds civilized to me.

Hasn’t his father also proclaimed himself to be an agent of peace? Also, Aberdinajad? And for that matter, Arafat? And for that matter, Castro, Hitler, and every deranged killer that has ever occupied official office? To me, it’s hard to know what that really means in the Islamic faith. Maybe I’m being too hard on the guy, but if I were the U.K., I’d say “no way – you’ll just bring trouble, even if you don’t mean to.”

If she really loves him, she won’t mind spending the rest of her married life living in Egypt. If he really loves her, he won’t mind not being granted a visa and will live with her in Egypt close to his son.

Somewhere along the way, she also acquired the name Zaina Mohamad al Sabah – presumably when she converted to Islam as a teenager?

“I never said I converted,” she exclaims angrily. She won’t elaborate, but has previously claimed Arabic parentage. Her parents are reported as being a George and Beryl Hanson. She refuses to clear up the matter.

“My religion is a very private matter. It doesn’t matter how I became a Muslim. Only that my Islamic faith is very important to me.”

For all the holes in Jane’s story – all of which give the impression that even she doesn’t know who she is – we do know that she was a Muslim by the time she got married for the first time, at the age of 16.

This union – like her current one – was an Islamic religious marriage not recognised in law. She won’t name the man, but tells me that the pressures of trying to have it formally recognised in this country helped destroy it.

Overall, she sounds like a real whackadoo.

Again, Osama must be proud.
